Stuff happens in the manufacturing process. I mean, worse stuff than that, even. I'm not even going to get into foods and what unmentionable amount of unmentionable things can go into packaged foods and be deemed "just fine."

Mainly because when I do I want to start "home steading" in disgust, but I REALLY don't want to actually do it..

Over a year is a rather fine average actually. LOL.

That's the first bad coil I've have gotten in over a year and a half. Can't complain I'm just trying to figure out how they couldn't put threads on it it's kind of funny.
When you consider manufacturers are making coils by the thousands, probably millions, and they are basically made by hand by humans, it's not hard to fathom a few will get through any quality control checkpoints, especially if made by SMOK.

sounds like an auto threader got jammed and they cycled it a few times to clear the jam ( thus a couple of unthreaded got thru into the bin of threaded)... happens all the time in manufacturing thousands of parts in a couple of hours...

Google rat droppings/chocolate if you want to see what Anna's referring to. Be prepared to give up chocolate for a while if you do.

Not too long ago, Vaporesso sold some of the worst coils on the market, the Target Pro brass coils with hexagonal flood ports. One after another burnt out almost immediately. They fixed the problem with EUC coils, but I still have a couple of boxes of these useless coils.

I have used maybe 10 smok coil heads the whole time I vaped. 3 were junk clones that got sold as real (still have 2 unused boxes of these clone coils), and 2 authentics had issues too, one had a bad insulator ring, I don't remember what was wrong with the other one. So basically half of the coils I used was junk. Being the price they are, instead of buying more I spent that cash on a rebuildable, wire, and cotton. Best decision I have made in vaping.
