NPRO Duo Drippage

Hi there! New to everything here..
So I was thinking about doing a drip thing, since NPRO Duo cartos only come in 2 flavors - crap and minty crap. So out of curiosity, I took apart a used carto and took a peek. I attached a pic of what I found..

So what I am thinking I could do, is get some good juice, and just kind of soak it into that cottony stuff. Do you think that would work ok?

Actually, I think I discovered my own question by doing some youtube browsing.. For the noobs like myself who have this particular config - you pop the mouth part off, pull out the rubber oring thing, and juice it up with 18 drops (like youd fill a beer), and pop the oring back in...
