Wow... good thing there's the veto option because, like I posted on the league message board, my intention was to offer a fair trade even though Beats by Ray was out of the playoffs. Brady is averaging 18.2, Cutler is at 16.4 -- not even a 2 point difference. In real life, of course Cutler doesn't come close to being the QB Brady is, but in our fantasy league, they're not that far off. McKinnon is averaging 10.4 since he became the main RB, and I was under the assumption that he would be back this week considering he played through the back problems in week 12. I'm glad the option to veto trades is there and only requires 4 votes because if it causes this much of a stir, I'd rather not be part of it.

That was one of the better offers I've had. You should have seen some of the ones I rejected lol. I also assume that woth only 4 votes needed to veto, almost anything will be vetoed this week.

As I sit here reading this enjoying some great cheesecake I say we need to lock in a trade deadline a few weeks before the playoff to stop this stuff.
Happy holidays to all.

I see the problem with this...a few weeks prior the playoff teams are still in limbo. Week of or something similar to playoff brackets being set I can see. I did all the moves I thought could happen well before now.

No one can fault you for the attempt. I know I don't, but the trade was not even close to being equal. Like you said Cutler doesn't come close...at this point Mckinnon's #1 status is in question, Asiata ranks way higher and Cutler has been...well Cutler and the Saints D is LOLABLE at 31st ranked. Based on pre-playoff trades it was not even close to fair. You'd have to give up a number 2 rb or wr AND Cutler to even think about that going through.

Dang, Clark. It was a fun run while it lasted, but I don't think my team can hang with yours. Forte and Jeffery will kill it this week in the NoLa. Any points Cutler gets for me will also go to you in some sort of fashion unless he develops 4.3 speed in the next few days. Looking at Astapor and Reno's teams makes next week look ugly, too. It may take a miracle for me to win some juice.

Alshon Jeffery is looking real good with Brandon Marshall out for the season - I got Jeffery in... round 5?

I'm going out without having done anything more than (1) trade - proposed by me - and I ended up getting the **** end of the stick. Looked good at the time though, lmao

I'm just hoping to survive another week. Can't have another 2 pt. or even 12 pt. week from Manning and need Thomas to show up. That RB combo that Astapor has is pretty amazing.

Jeffery in Round 5? Not even in a 10 team league. That was your 2nd rounder at #33, and I was even surprised he dropped that far. I don't know how I ended up with DT at #17, though. That was crazy.

Maybe it was Maclin that dropped low
