NU-B question

HI, i started vaping with the "smokers ally" i saw on a tv commercial...it wasn't that good so i returned it....started smoking again, then a friend had a green puffer he said he got as a trial, and even though I read that you shouldn't get those, I asked if he wanted it anymore and he gave it to me. I do like the menthol much better...it's more minty...but one thing I've noticed is that I feel like I cough more afterwards...like cough up phlem or something...more than smoking regular cigs...is this normal?

Also I am a bit worried that I might not have the best brand since it was on a trial basis. Does anyone have any recommendations on 2 piece systems that have a GREAT MINTY menthol flavor? also with an easier drag?...this one requires a longer harder drag ... kind of discouraging when you want a quick fix...I've still been smoking analogs too but for example my bf went fishing tonight and was going to leave me cigs and I said "no it's okay, I have the ecig..." so he left me just 2 just in case....that was about 1.5 hrs ago and I haven't touched them...just been sitting here reading the forum and vaping at the same time.

anyway, I'd appreciate any suggestions or advice on the above issues ...thanks

Your coughing could either be from cutting back cigs, body adjusting, or, the PG based flavor in your green puffer could be doing it. I had similar problem with another brand.

You can also get the Riva 510 from Liberty Flights, $30 @ 20% off. I advise you try lots of juice vendors in small sample sizes first. There are hundreds of flavors and nearly as many vendors. Taste is personal, so you'll have to discover your favorite. Good luck. :)

Edit: if you find other PG juices make you cough, get higher VG based juice.

I agree with getting a model in the eGo/Riva category. Much better than what you have. But I would get the E-Power which performs as well as the eGo/Riva but the batteries cost MUCH less and last MUCH longer:

e-Power

Electronic Cigarette - Starter Kits - E-Power

But stay away from auto batteries like you have and get manual batteries: much better performance and safer!!!!

Definitely go with an Ego style manual battery (push button). Or something similar. I just started vaping a month ago and the ego has done me well. If you are going to be out and about alot, make sure you get a battery with a higher mah ,, 650mah minimum. My ego batteries are 1100mah and I go well over a day on a single charge.

And for the coughing up phlem. when I started vaping I also was getting alot of phlem, but I think it was because of the vapor loosening up the crap in my lungs from smoking analogs. I am smoke free 1 month now and no more coughing.
