Hi All!

Been lurking around here off and on for a while. Placed our first order this week - cant wait!

Little about us, my wife and I have been smoking since our young teen years and are now close to fifty. We both are about 2PAD smokers and I enjoy smoking and she hates it

I also have a 30yr old son who is doing this with us.

I am looking forward to the major change for us, so we're taking this pretty seriously and getting started with whatever we need. I ordered 3 KR8 kits from vaporleaf.com (still waiting) - ordered pcc's, pass throughs, 501 adapters, and misc bottles etc from vaporkings.com (got that stuff today - pretty quick) and ordered some liquids from litecig.

I will use the cartos at first but plan to immediately start filling my own as it's the most economical option. Hopefully the wife will enjoy doing the same or I'll have more to do

Probably going to make an area for all this stuff in our home office (our ventilated smoking area - never smoked in the house) kinda like a "charging station" and I'm sure I'll design and build an awesome station! I'll post pics when the time comes - have to see what I end up needing and how to make it workable. I am ordering some female USB ports and a central 5vdc power supply so we're not dependent on the available computer ports. I will place these ports at the typical sitting locations and the "station" - gosh - sounds like fun!

Anyway, thank you all for contributing - I have spent many (MANY) hours reading here as I impatiently wait for the KR8's to arrive - lots of good info here - I suspect I'll be here for quite some time

welcome to ECF sounds like you did a good amout of research and once your stuff gets in seems like youll be ready to vape, just curious what juice you got from litecig, most are good but my father in law orderd there camel/desert ship and it wasnt verry good even after steeping so if you did get that id suggest letting it air out for at least a day and steep for a few more, have a good one and again, WELCOME!-)

BTW - a great accessory for charging is a 4-port USB to AC 2mp adapter - I love these
Most standard slim cylinder ecig batteries need 500mA (1/2 amp) of power to charge. if you have 4 battery-to-usb cables that will fit the close slots, you can charge 4 batteries at once on one of these. And if you ever get a passthru, those usually require 1 amp of power so you could use the passthru while charging 2 batteries. Any combo that adds up to 2 amps or less.

I have one of those at home and one at work. They also sell another model with international plugs.

If find two of the short hard battery to usb adapters won't fit next to each other on the Rosewills, but I can put one of those at the end and use the cable-type battery-to-usb things in the other 4 slots.

Sounds like yours will be even wilder - can't wait to see it!

I work with numerous power supplies in my line of business and I can get a 10amp 5vdc regulated supply pretty cheap and being the weirdo type of guy I am I will hardwire multiple jacks throughout the home - power only - but convenient for sure...

Yea, I've been looking around here for some examples of cool setups or stash type station's (cant think of a better name then station - must be the techie in me ). Does anyone know of any nice setups?

I was thinking of maybe even building a nice piece of furniture or something portable like a custom tackle box - but who knows...

Rest of stuff arrived (actually yesterday - just didn't see it in the mail box) this AM I found it on the way to work.

Did I say WOW yet?

Smoked one analog on way to work as battery topped off. Took my first drag on the KR8 and my world changed! WOW! No cigs since (well one at about 11am as I forgot )

I guess I quit analog



The regular tobacco flavor works but now I can see why the other flavors are going to be cooler. I don't think I will need the "tobacco flavor" to enjoy smoking vaping! Cant wait to empty a carto to try some!

Way too cool - everything you have all said - I'm into it!


The Wife is getting there - kinda like to much fiddlin I think - She'll like it in time!
