nvader 50w

Hey all,
Been a long time member of forums and just recently stumbled onto this new Temperature Control fad. I am about to place an order for the Nvader mod 50w and i currently use a Sub tank mini with a 1.2ohm coil. While looking around i saw MFS has .1 and .5 ohm coils but .1 is sold out currently. If i order the .5 ohm replacement heads will i still be able to control the temp? Sorry very new to this! Also Purple Efest 18650s will work correctly with this mod correct?
