Yeah the only way they might look better would be if my blue mini+ actually was blue.
I know there is no SS mode on this mod, but is it possible to run SS wire on it? If so, what wire and at what setting?
Run it in TI mode.
I run SS430 0.6ohm coils at 240 to 260F, TI mode.
Works great.
If this little thing had a accurate SS mode or a manual TCR option I would buy one more. (I won mine here on ECF)
I was not sold on Cloupor at all, this thing however is a lot of bang for the buck.
I'm hoping they will last for people who have them. If a manual TCR was available you would not even need the upgradable firmware that other mods advertise.
Honestly never thought I was gonna like it as much as I do.

One more on that sentiment. I even tried to hate it and I can't. I've dropped it a few times and not broken it yet. I have had to chase the battery and door across the floor a few times. I thought the door wiggle would bother me to death but Meh' not so much. It still bothers me a little but I have learned to live with it. I really don't have a lot of nits to pick with this unit.
I don't run it in TC very often and when I do it is with stock Nauti coils. It doesn't kick the cloud like my dual batt. IPV set at the same J but it does what I feel is a decent job. I'm not a cloud chaser and just do it once in a while for kicks.
From my experience, the evic mini gets a little better battery life than the cloupor. Same build and battery used.

I've had mine for a couple of days. I won it here in the giveaway and chose the white version. One concern I have is the 510 connector is ever-so-slightly raised a bit (just like the original non-TC version) so tanks don't sit flush on the mod. To me this is again a disappointment and a repeated failure on Cloupor's part but I'll just have to be extra careful with it. The 510 on my original CM came loose after dropping it once, then it went downhill from there (even after taking it apart and applying some epoxy), and later after a couple of months the board fried. Time will tell on the durability and longevity of this new version but the performance so far has been good and it offers a nice vape. The Auto setting in TC mode is a nice feature too.

Hey that Orange IS sharp. Wish I had thought to order that. Yeah my mini+has been doing just fine at tootling. Guess I was just having a bad day that first day I used it. Been using everyday since. It's gonna get a rest after I get my 2 new Sigelei ZMaxes from the tree on Christmas morning. Whoohoo!
I also won one of these in the contest, and finally received it this week. @Katdarling, mine is actually a "lighter orange" than yours. I love the color too! Haven't gotten to try it yet because I've ordered batteries and a charger. All of this TC stuff just intimidates me. I hope I can figure it out and see if I like TC.

Oh, sorry! I hadn't checked this thread in quite a while, coffee lover! So you do like it, eh? And yours is a slighty lighter "orange" than mine?
To be honest, mine is not getting much play. From the top of the comments heap, I'd say that's quite heavy for its size. I don't dislike it, but I have other devices that are more akin to the hand feel that I like (rounded sides, snuggly, etc.). I have no interest in TC and haven't tried it even once.
