I tried to post in the Swedes thread but I had to write a number of posts here in the New Member forum first so here I am! That sucks because I had a question to the other Swedes about e-juice.

But maybe you can give me some help too. I am a new user of e-cig and I got my start package yesterday. I use the 510-T. I bought 5 different e-juices (pre filled in the containers) to try them but they all taste the same. These are the flavors I use:

RY44
Chocolate Vanilla Fudge
Menthol Mist
Vanilla Dream
Cappuchino Gusto

I tried the first three and they all taste the same :-( I'm so disappointed. They taste good though. Are there so little variation in the taste that maybe you can't feel the difference?

Welcome to the forum.
While they should taste different, some report taste issues in the beginning.

Welcome , When you first start vaping , the flavors seem very muted , which tend to make a lot of the juices taste very similar . After your taste buds start clearing up , you will start to notice the little differences between the m. and they will seem stronger , as well .

Unfortunately, smoking really kills your taste buds. They'll start to function normally in a week or two.

Since you need 5 posts: how do you like vaping so far? Have you quit the ciggs completely? How's the weather in Sweden? And whatever?

Yeah having to post in a new user forum is a pain and part of why I didn't post for awhile on here..but I understand it's to keep the spam down. I'm like ugh I'm an experienced poster on forums..I put up over 5,700 post on Sony's game forums under ChrispyCritter probably over 7,000 but I had a few posts deleted in some arguments lol. I was even banned for an undetermined time once but after that I went on to beta test a bunch of games on PS3 (Socom being my game) After my ban I made friends with a few forum mods,some Sony employees and never had an issue again I would still be posting there but after the Sony hack and there new user agreement I'm done with Sony...

Well, I haven't been a heavy smoker, but can't stop anyway. I started smoking first when I was a teenager as most do I guess. When I was about 21 I got my first child and stopped smoking. After the second child, at age 25 I started again. But after 2 years I quit again. This time it went well until 2 or 3 years ago. My daughters are smoking and I tasted one just to keep them company and then one more... and that was it!

So the last 2 or 3 years I have been smoking like 3-8 cigarettes per day. Not much but still.... so unnecessary! And I hope that me quitting will help my daughters quit as well. I will try to get them to use the e-cig as well.

Well, hopefully you can all get off the stinkies.

Since you smoke so little, you might want to get some samples of 6, 8 and 10mg juice. I think the stronger juices might be a bit much.

Hm, I don´t understand what you mean... Do you mean the juice with nicotine?

I use the ones without nicotine if that is what you mean. I don't think I am addicted to the nicotine, I think its more the "smoking" habit if you know what I mean. So far I have felt no need to smoke anything else, the e-cig has been enough.

I have had som trouble with the e-cig today, the smoke taste like "burnt wood" or something. I don't think the juice gets to the cartomizer, I will try again and see if I can find what the problem is.

Yes, that's the taste you get with a dry cartomizer.
Either it needs more juice, or it isn't wicking well for some reason.

Welcome And congrats on your quit! Thats wonderful your nic free, that will make things simpler and cheaper for you. So your using cartomizers and they tast like their burning? It sounds like there isn't enough juice in them. Did you get bottles of juice to refill them with?

I got pre filled tanks with different tastes. Looking like this:


The first two worked fine but i changed to a new one today and i don't think this one works the way it should.

I cleaned the cartomizer and now it tastes fine again I just ordered a few more cartomizers so that I can clean them and let them dry more often and still have one to use.

I also ordered some juice "tryouts" to find out what I like the most. I will use one cartomizer for mint, one for coffee and one for other tastes. Someone told me that mint and coffee is hard to get rid of the taste in the cartomizer.
