Alu : Better conduction but also required regular mantain, it's what makes its charm
But i was wondering about a plating silver (alu) or gold (brass)...
Someone knows if it's decrease conduction or not ?

aluminium cant hold anything succesfully in its surface friend. All plated mods will be get damaged soon. You dont want this on your GG, I am sure
Conductivily will degreased if the metal that you will use for plating is a worse contuctor only.
And yes, taking care of our best machine from time to time is a very nice prossedure Lace my friend! Especially when its our lovely habit!
