I bought a few new drip tips about two months ago. I used one of them pretty much all the time, rinsed it with hot water every other day. About a month after I got it, I took it off to refill my carto, and it wouldn't go back on! The rubber O-Ring would just squish up on one side and would not go into the carto! I ended up using an O-Ring from one of my ear plugs (I'd never used it, so it was brand new) so it wasn't completely ruined.
Any ideas what could have caused this or how to prevent this from happening in the future?

taylerrrae,

They where out after a while and need to be replaced, some vendors sell them, or you can go to your local Home Depot and get them there for cheap, they hang on the wall in a clear rectangle plastic box, with a blue and white background on the inside back and say "Danco" Brand on them. Take your old, or even better a newer o-ring with you so you can match the perfect size to it. ;)
