Hi everyone, I've been vaping on and off for a couple of weeks, and I love it.
I started out with PG/VG blended juices, unfortunately discovered a pretty intense PG allergy and stopped for a bit.
Waiting for my new VG juice now, and cannot wait to get my vape on again, and not have to smoke gross analogues.

I figured it would be a good idea to find a few online communities to join, so I can learn how to avoid the mistakes I've already made and wished I hadn't. Where better to come than the biggest online vape community?

Welcome! I've been vaping for a couple years but only lurked here. Just found out about the 5 post rule. Gah!

I love 100% VG. I started with PG/VG blends and it took me a little while to realize the PG was triggering my asthma. The viscosity of pure VG makes advanced options (tanks, etc) a little more troublesome, but hands down it's worth it.

Thanks for the warm welcome!

Welcome!

Good luck with the new juice, what kind of reaction did you have to PG?

I ended up with some gnarly hives all over my upper back/chest/arms, joint and muscle discomfort and some gross sores on my tongue. It was not pleasant at all. My GP and Dermatologist confirmed the allergy.
It didn't even click to me when I was buying juice the first time the skin sensitivities I have with some deodorants and shampoos would be an issue with vaping. Oh well, at least we've learned, haha.

I'm glad to hear positive things about 100% VG juice! I've been a little worried about not enjoying it, but I won't know until I try it myself. I've bought a few new toys to go with my new juice, hearing the comet/phoenix clearos are pretty good with high VG percentages. If that fails I'll snag some cartos and see what happens!

Welcome to the forum (obligatory new member response). After lurking for a while, this does seem to be one of the best forums and there is truly a lot of useful info here, as well as experienced vapers/members always ready to give advice and varied opinions. We're all in this together so a helpful community is a big plus!
