How many of you vapers get told that you are obsessed with vaping? I just got a new Wimsec Exoskeleton Starter Kit, another Limitless RDTA, a HorizonTech RDTA, a Wismec reuleaux RX2 mod, a coil building tool kit, DIY juice supplies, and a Bushido RDTA in the mail over the last two days, I have no idea what she means by saying I'm obsessed. I still haven't spent what I am saving by not smoking, so I don't see the problem....lol.

My husband buys guns.. it's his thing. I collect vape gear.. we all have our thing..

If you want to know what's funny? I mean really funny?

I quit vaping two months ago... still buying gear! Hahaha..

So long as you dont spend more than you can afford its all good.

I forgot to add.. if she is complaining you also need to point out what she spends on... she has a thing she spends on, find that thing.. it's your defense.

Just like my husband's guns, if I don't complain neither can he.. lol

That's normal behavior. You're a long ways from obsessive.

I just got these 510 drip tips today. Really good investment at 50 cents a piece. Anyone with a Limitless Gold RDTA know the coils are really close to the drip tip. With the 510 adapter from my Beast King and this drip tip, no more burning my lips or hot spit in my mouth!

Uh-oh! I buy both guns and vape gear.

But both together don't hold a candle to the stuff my wife collects.

Well, I probably ought to say uh-oh, too, then. I buy/collect vape gear; vintage Hondas (80cc or smaller); vintage NOS Swarovski "stuff" (jewelry, pendants, beads, figurines); and vintage, usually NOS, George Lawrence leathergoods (cartridge belts, holsters, saddlebags, bandoleers, etc.) and their catalogs.

Wait a minute............I really don't need to say uh-oh though, I guess! I don't have a husband or wife, to worry or care about what I buy! :)

Plus, I figure as long as I still haven't spent nearly as much on what I collect, as I did on smoking for 42+ years & have nothing to show for all that $$...I'm doing OK!

By the way, you've got me interested. What does your wife collect? Diamond jewelry, really expensive purses,.....?

:offtopic: Just to change the subject a little, since drip tips were brought up...I thought I'd share what I use.

I have a distaste for metal drip tips. I don't like how they feel, and I don't like how many get hot while vaping. Many of today's juice attachments have HUGE tips that sometimes make make me wonder if I'm vaping on the end of a muffler's tail pipe.

I've been using the Cherry Vape Cloud Chaser tips on all of my juice delivery attachments for the past couple of years. They are made of delrin plastic. They are wide bore, so they accomodate my DTL style. They are press fit and fit very snuggly without getting hopelessly stuck. However they have a tapered end which is much more comfortable on the lips and I don't get confused about "tail piping".

No, the only fancy diamond thing she has is the engagement ring I got her in mid 1980s, and she's not really into expensive purses or shoes either.

I will try to remember to get some pics. Lighting is not conducive at the moment; I get more reflections from the glass doors on the cabinets full of collectibles than of the collectibles themselves. It's mostly fancy stone carvings of one sort or another, plus small stone boxes, and stone vases and plates and such.

That's OK about photos. I think I know the type of things you're talking about. I have a friend who collects what sound like similar things. She's gotten some of hers in NC, WA, AK, the Yukon Territory, Italy, Germany, Spain, etc. Wherever she goes she's on the look-out for more. :)

Vaping obsession can come and go a bit. I've sort of been slowly getting over mine, but yes, initially vaping for me was NOT cheaper than smoking. I was a 3 ppd smoker and we used one of those injector machines. Factoring health care costs, it was NOT cheaper. Being stocked up (my version) helps. LOL. Now that I have the last of my nic in a freezer and lots of great gear that I like, things have simmered down a bit. I buy more judiciously and with care.

Shawn isn't a hoarder. More like a collector. To get a true version of "Hoarding," you gotta watch the show. If none of it were organized, and the collective postage all his gear came from were strewn across the room, perhaps with kitty litter sprinkled around and maybe a rat or two visible in the photo...:lol::lol:

Hoarding actually really sucks. Although, I'm fairly certain if her were asked to "weed" his collection and save his 10 favorite setups, (much like they do in that show, LOL, thank God I never got a hoarding client) then, there might be tears an resistance, a la the show, but fortunately for him, it's not justified. LOL. Yet.
