Ody/ Penelope Wick Options

Hi Imeo, i found this site selling cotton wicks, its actually meant to be used with candles but it looks promising, do u think its a good option to use?

Never used something like these but it will probably burn ? Im sure someone else here have try and can give you a good idea but cotton burns very easy that in order to use without burning will be to never let it get dry, constant moist will be a must.

Il be using it with the ody so i think keeping it wet wont be a prob! (doesnt sound quite right)

As long as you keep it wet it will be ok. Don't know about flavor however

check the fiberglass wick on the same site, it looks like the silica wick everyone is selling, I read somewhere Silica wick is also fiberglass, any input regarding this? Cap?

I believe, but don't quote me that silica wick does have a percentage of fiberglass but the issue is that the one we buy from COV carries all the safety standard ratings from the EU

edit: same goes for the EU suppliers of GG silica wick

The first wick that Iatty carried was from this store. But BG (a German GG friend) send it to a laboratory and the laboratory said that it was dangerous, so I stopped buying this silica wick from them.
As for the wick you mention rocky, I dont buy anything that havent ROSH and CE for vaping purposes. Lesson is learned. I dont want to make experiments on me and on my customers. This is a work of scientists, not mine

Didn't he say the first wick? Maybe meaning the ones he used to send out. Looks like he changed what wick he sends out

I have also some wick I got with my iAtty, after Imeo inform us about the study results I stopped using it.

Recently I decided to try it again with bad results (it gets burned after 1 tank). It is easy to see, I cut a small piece of it and burn it on the gas stove (as when I clean the Odysseus wicks), it just melts down, what does not happen with the new Odysseus and iAtty wick.

So I think is better to not use it.

After reading the wick thread "dangerous Vs. Safe" I have purchased the new Silica wick from COV before it went out of stock and the cotton wick listed above by the op. I will be trying out both once my sweet Penelope and Ody arrive. I'll keep you posted on results.

i have some weird taste with the stock wick, it may also be my kanthal wire, i'm not sure, but after some hunting for a hardware shop that sell ss mesh locally, all my flavors are so clean and clear, the weird taste is completely gone. my point is try the ss mesh style, it's like dope

Just a weird idea but has anybody tried using the poly fill type stuff thats in cartos to make a wick? Dont know how long it would last or even how the taste would be but if it works in carts?????

Can someone critique my first coil try. I spent ten minutes following along with the video. I used 100% cotton candle wick. My wife came into and asked me what the hell I was doing. She calls that room my .... den. Hahahha!! I hope something shows up soon in my mailbox.
