Coil looks good. Nice and neat job of it :)

At least you have a decent vaping workspace. My vaping supplies are relegated to a cupboard in the smaller of the two bathrooms and I only have the tiny counterspace of the vanity for working on. My gf doesn't get the whole vaping thing and likes to pick on me about how many little bottles I've got packed into that little cupboard

Thanks my friend!! I'm excited! I didn't think I could do it Imeo. You told me I could and you were right!!

Does anyone use a device to keep wick stable while wrapping the coil. I didn't but could see how it might help.

Thanks,

Chris

Thanks Kill,

My wife brings friends into the laundry room / .... den and everyone laughs at the 4 drawers filled with little bottles.
Then they go out into my living room and smoke butts all night while I vape my healthy GG. They always want to take a puff and comment on how great it tastes. No one has taken the leap to GG but since I told my wife that I overdrew my bank account yesterday to get her a beautiful Penelope she has agreed to give it a try when it arrives.

Cheers to all my GG family. Great support.

Chris

no one knows what is safe and what is not exept the company that makes wicks gives you the certificates for it rocky. All people the last 2 years sell or find new wicks for vaping. I am not against the progress we try to do on this lever of course but exactly the opossite. But suggesting wicks that arent tested is not the proper way. If someone wants to suggest a wick he has to send it to a laboratory and post the results on forum:).

It's hard to tell without the Ody sitting next to wick in the pics but you might need to go longer on the bottom piece. It should reach at least to the bottom of threads on the ceramic housing, a bit longer is even better. I make mine longer than needed and trim them to o-ring like Scott's video. The stack and wrap looks great though. You'll see what I mean once it arrives.

Wick works well. It needed breaking in for about 5-10 minutes and then everything started tasting great. My only issue now is juice leaking from the ODY's center post. No idea why this is happening but hopefully someone will give me a solution.

Funny you mention it but I use something like this:

http://www.amazon.com/SE-MZ101B-Hel...UTF8&qid=1341277566&sr=8-7&keywords=soldering

Recently I've been trying out 100% cotton wicks and stringing that between the alligator clips...holds it tight and level while I'm wrapping the coils. Also makes it really easy to adjust them after wrapping. Not sure I'd try it with the silica...might be too brittle for the alligator clips. They have a pretty heavy base so it's not that easy to knock them over while wrapping. :)
