Greetings from Manila. I just got my Oddyseus last night. Problem is I cannot seem to connect the Odysseus to my SS GGTS. The base of the Odysseus seems to be different and not compatible with my SS GGTS. Was the Odysseus made to be used with the SS GGTS? If so, then why the different base? I had no problems with my UFS and I have 2 SS GGTS so i thought of buying the Odysseus.

Would getting the new base i saw in Imeo's video solve my problem and is this new base included in the expansion/upgrade kit? What are the parts included in the expansion/upgrade kit? My seller cannot answer my questions.

I have no plans on getting the Stealth since i already have 2 GGTS.

Hope someone would enlighten me on my problem/questions. Thanks and happy vaping. Proud to be a solid GG user.

Welcome to the GG family, boywil!

you can find a picture of the Odysseus upgrade kit here http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/gg/238074-odysseus-official-245.html#post5162192.

The Odysseus comes with a 510 connection as standard. You can connect it to a GGTS in different ways, but i find
using a rethreater (comes with GGTS) and a 910-510 adapter as best. You can find all solutions here GG wiki - GG Adapters

The GGTS base for Odysseus is an extra part which is NOT included in the upgrade kit because not everyone is using a GGTS.
The GGTS base for Odysseus replaces the standard base (510 connector) and can be connected to the GGTS without rethreater or adapters.

You can find additional information about Odysseus at the wiki
Odysseus - E-Cigarette Wiki
GG wiki (backup) - Odysseus

Hope this helps

If you are looking for the shortest setup possible, remove the top cap and use the 901 Rethreader and a 901-510 adapter. You ODY will sit flush on top of the CT and you will be able to use the full range of your airflow control. Also, using the rethreader will enable your connector pin to go up further which will allow for a few extra turns on your telescope resulting in the shortest setup possible. Plus this way your are only using one adapter instead of two.

agree 100% just to note though for people using Alum TMF GGTS the stock pin is not long enough to use this setup. It was mentioned for iAtty but hasn't been brought up much lately.

my 2 GGTS did not come with a rethreader. it only came with the 901-510 adapter so am thinking if the US version is more complete than what we got here in Asia. Hmmmm....

These are the rethreaders courtesy of COV

It is a completely different base for the Odysseus that allows you to thread the Odysseus directly onto the GGTS using the threads already in the top of the collection tank (Like the AVS)

there is an ody to GGTS adapter for people to buy.
it will be available in the next few days.
