I was that bad, or worse, a year ago, and am doing fairly well now. NO reason to suspect cancer! Doctors like to throw that word around alot nowadays- seems they do it just so's we'll keep their appt's.

Just had my c-scopy 2 wks ago myself- just don't cheat and drink as much as you can. I didn't finish the prep the last 2 times myself.

Please feel free to join us over at the other forum- ecig folks over their too.--

Hey Eric I just saw your thread and thought I'd jump in.
I suffered from ulcerative colitis and went through the same thing you're going through. I was diagnosed about 20 years ago. The doctors couldn't figure out what I had. They thought I was anemic. My joints hurt so bad that I litterally couldnt move. Then they had an infectious disease specialist come in and they had me admitted to my own room. I had the specialist withdraw fluid from my knees with a big needle. It was bad. Finally they had a gastrointestinal doc come in and check me out. He said he had never seen a case as bad as mine. He tried an experimental drug on me called immurane (sp?) and that didn't work. They finally had to perform a resection of my intestines. I no longer have my ascending, transverse or descending intestines. I was given an illiostomy for about 3 months for bowel rest and then the proceedure was reversed so that I can use the bathroom like everyone else.

My point is that after all of that I no longer have ulcerative colitis and I'm doing ok. I suffered a stroke about a month ago but I'm in therapy and doing well with regaining the use of my right hand and leg.

You'll make it through all of this. If I can do it you can. I'm only 47 and I refuse to let all of this bring me down. Keep a positive attitude and know that if you ever need to talk to someone I'm only a pm away.
    Keep the faith brother!

Everything will be just Fine Eric! And my daughter sends her sympathies on the prep...she has had to endure that too.

Sympathies sent back to her as well!

    This is True.

Heck, I have been asking for People to Pray for Eric way before I even knew he was going into the Hospital.

    ;)

    Lmao I definitely need them.

You guys that have been through this. Is my prep a little extreme?

My appt isn't till 12:45 but they want me on a liquid diet the whole day before? I'll be starving at work. Gotta do what I got to do, but I think if at least be able to have a breakfast.

Nope they had me do the same thing. Just follow the doc's instructions. Otherwise you may have to repeat the proceedure and no one likes to drink that stuff. At least I didn't. Lol.

I'll do it lol yeah it tastes horrible. But I gotta do what I gotta do. I don't want the doc to find a taco or peperoni when he's all up there.

If they hospitalize me again I'm so glad I have my mvp and soon a groove. It was a pain setting up my Pila charger for my provari and electric angel. They are staying home this time.

I know the chances of Dying from the procedure you’re going to have is very, Very, VERY Small.

But if for any reason you don’t make it, Can I have your Provari?

No, isn't extreme. If your bowel isn't prepped properly, they have to do it again. Just follow the instructions and DON'T EAT BREAKFAST.
