Off topic - I got so many video games today. I love black friday!

I spent about $100 today and got about $240 worth of games and it's still not Black Friday yet. I got Arkham City, Uncharted 3, Gears of war 3, and Dark Souls! Now I just need to pick up Mario land 3D and Skyrim and I will have my video game fix ready to go for the next year!

Black Friday is the day after Thanksgiving (a US holiday). My theory is that it arised because millions of people naturally have the Friday off from work after Thanksgiving, so stores have crazy ... sales. You can get some good items for usually over 50% off if you find the right places. From video games, TV's, electronics, heck.. I bet some of the ecig vendors will have black friday sales.

If you log onto Amazon I bet you can find some good sales. It just started. This website is the place to visit http://slickdeals.net. Even if you don't live here, I bet you can get some good deals.

Gamefly is better than buying video games. If I keep a game for around 2 months it's the same as buying it. I'll know within a day or two if a game is worth buying or not. I've saved a lot of money by not buying games that looked awesome but ended up sucking thatnks to Gamefly. It's one thing I don't mind dropping $25 a month on. I've found that once I beat a game I generally don't want to play it anymore. I've got 30 games for my 360 and only play a few of them anymore. The rest just sit.

Yeah, I would do gamefly if I was not in college. I like to have my games on hand because I don;t have much time to play them. With my schedule, it takes me months to beat a game.

Making a good profit is considered, afaik, going into the black. As opposed to the red which is losing money. Maybe on a chart or something? I had it written out better in my head... coffee coffee gogo... there is an actual reason its called black friday and it has to do with company profits and this time of year.

Yes the reason it is called black friday is because most if not all stores lose money (are in the red) all year and do not begin to see profit (in the black) until the christmas season which generally starts right after thanksgiving.

I'm a WOWhead myself. I don't have as much time to put into it as I want. It consumes my video game time.
