The movies were too much teenagedy for me but the books were well written for that genre.

No. Just my opinion. I never read Hunger Games but I loved Harry Potter and found Twilight dreadfully thick with teenage angst. Stopped before I finished book 1.

I totally agree, but then I use the library for most of my books. Right now I am really into books on CD for my drive time. The commute seems 1/2 the time and I've "read" some really good ones.
