#1 Skydragon has ruined my day. I had no idea that the US had lifted the ban on slaughtering horses. That is so sad. Horses are one of the most beautiful animals on earth. Without horses this country wouldn't have grown as fast as it did but now that horses aren't needed for transportation like they were in the old days the government feels they should be destroyed. That is just plain sick thinking and makes me want to slaughter the hunters.

Post #2 for the day........

Congrats AG51. I completely forgot about the post # thingy contest within a contest.

I woke up this morning, got dressed, only to realize that I put my bra on backwards and it fit better. It's gonna be one of those days..........

LMAO

#1 The first time I met my dad (I was 20) He told me I was so flat I had bumps on my back, Just like his sister :facepalm: Men!

The previous contest .... The winner has not claimed their prize yet. I think for future ones they need to claim within a certain amount of time, and if it goes unclaimed for x amount of days, then a new winner is selected. I'll give them 30 days total to get back to me. That should be enough time!

Of course it is the holiday season, and maybe they are on vacation! Hopefully this is the case :)

What would be a fair number of days to claim?

* not an entry*
30 days is way more then enough time in my opinion. The longer the time span, the more you have to keep track of, no ? I would make it shorter then that. You're being kind enough to offer this to us. The least we can do is be respectful and respond in a timely manner. But what do I know ? :D

Land of Southern Belles :)
First post today :)

Was driving my kids around town so they could spend their Christmas gift cards.... and my 15 year old son who moved back in with me this year, told me he could wiggle his EARS!!

HOLY MOLY! The kid CAN wiggle his ears!! And not only wiggle them both, but he can wiggle them independent of each other. I have an ELF!!!

Now try driving around town with THAT sitting next to you :)

(and yes, I been trying all afternoon to do it too, I cant!)

#1 - I have yet to meet a dog I don't like (some I wouldn't go out of my way to own, but never one I didn't like)

As far as the timing to claim a prize, I think 7-10 days is MORE than sufficient. Between the forum, PMs,email, smartphones, etc. there's little reason for someone to be out of touch longer than that unless there was a major life changing event (in which case the prize is likely not to be a priority).

I always appreciate a contest (though I'd appreciate them more if I won!) so whatever you decide to do is fine by me! I just don't see any benefit (and a lot of downside) to a prolonged prize claim period.
