Happy Something on a Stick Day

When : Always March 28th

Something on a Stick Day celebrates things on a stick. Isn't this just a neat day? We thought you'd agree.

So what comes on a stick? Practically anything. The first thing that comes to mind is popsicles and fudgecicles. Hotdogs are poplar on a stick at campfires. There's also corndogs, and shrimp and many chinese treats. Cocktail wieners and cheese are picked and eaten on a stick(a toothpick).

You can also get just about anything on a stick when receiving food samples at a store or festival.

Celebrate this fun day by serving food for meals and snacks on a stick. The kids will love it. So will you!

BTW: We are glad that today is Something on a Stick Day and not "Something on a Shingle Day!

Happy National Mom and Pop Business Owners Day

When : Always March 29th

National Mom and Pop Business Owners Day celebrates small business owners. These individuals spend countless hours nurturing and growing their young enterprises. The workload demands, and lack of a hired staff, often translates into long and late hours, and many missed family and personal events. But, all in all, they love what they do. After all, they are their own boss.

New businesses have always been a vital, yet not fully appreciated, part of the U.S. economy. On they retail side, they bring different and unique products to the marketplace. They provide stellar and personal service support. When you call, you are more likely to get a real, live person. And unlike big national chains, they know their products. They are outstanding performers in niche markets. In manufacturing, they create many new concepts and ideas, making them creators of new products.

Celebrate National Mom and Pop Business Owners Day by showing your support....shop their stores today, and everyday.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Origin of "National Mom and Pop Business Owners Day":
According to the son of the "mom and pop" this day was created for:

" This holiday was created to honor the business that my parents started on 3/29/39 in Everett , MA —a hat shop called Ruth’s. It later developed into a woman’s specialty clothing store and moved to Medford , MA , increasing in size to 10,000 square feet with over $2 million dollars revenue until it closed in 1997."

Happy Take a Walk in the Park Day .

When : Always March 30th

Don't miss out on " Take a Walk in the Park Day". It is an opportunity for exercise and relaxation. Are you stressed out? A walk in the park is just what the doctor ordered. Its calming and therapeutic. Taken after a busy work day, it helps clear your mind and re-energize you. Or, take the walk during lunch and you will find the afternoon of work goes by quicker and easier.

A walk in the park will likely be the most enjoyable part of your day. However, make sure to do so with a clear mind and with your eyes open. In addition to avoiding a fall, open eyes will allow you to take in the beauty of nature's wonders: flowers, and trees, birds, and wildlife.

Tip: We suggest you take a walk in the park with a friend or your lover. It will prove far more enjoyable if you have company on your walk.

LOL no provari for me, or any raffle prize. Tho I did pick up a fun pink, black and white acrylic mod from madvapes that I love :) Got to hang out with Rich a couple times, unfortunately he was right next to a speaker the whole time, and it was LOUD. Then, they started setting up the live band next to him, and asked if they could put the speaker even closer to him LOL - poor Rich. I left before the live band started hehe. He said he sold a lot of juice, I was hoping to try out roses are red but they were gone before I got there. Oh well, I will someday! It was great to hang out with him a bit, he's such a cool guy :) Hope today goes well for you Rich!!

All was good this weekend at vapefest hangdude, thanks for asking. Lets just say I met some very interesting people ;) and no, no one had any guesses what was in the Enigma, but almost everyone who tried it at our table liked it and ended up buying a 30ml bottle of it, which we had a good deal on at $10. We even had some of the madvapes crew hang out at our table yesterday during some slow times in the day that all tried it and they seemed to like it. They had the table next to us, yeah a little intimidating but they were some great folks & even shared some beers with us. Had Phil Busardo stop by on Sat & ask for a pic with the guy who came up with Enigma, which was flattering, he is a great guy. Got to talk with loveridden a little, and saw her new awesome mod, it really looks cool. Adele couldnt make it on Sat because of a last min babysitter problem, so Im glad she was able to stop by and chat, was sitting there by myself all day. At the table on the other side of us was the TVN crew who was broadcasting live almost all day (they all were great) and Vaping Mandycat who was awesome talked me into doing a live interview which was fun & we gave away some juice & then me and Adele did an interview live with the cigar babe who was also wonderful and we got to give some more juice away. Adele won a lavatube in the raffel yesterday which was really cool! About the only bad thing was the huge speakers like loveridden said, I left with a really bad headache both day & it carried over through today!

All & all it was a great weekend. We met some awesome people from newbs to vets all in love with the same thing, not smoking. We gave away almost 600 6ml bottles of juice for free, got our name out a little more in the community and were recieved really well by a ton of people who didnt really know we were around. I even had a ton of e-mails this morning thanking us for the free samples and how much they like our juice and couldnt wait to try more. Im really glad we were a part of it.

I am so upset I had to work. I am my own boss, so I should be able to take off whenever I want...right?

Glad you had fun! It sounds like most everybody who went had a blast! I need to search the interwebs now and find the interviews.

Congrats to Adele on the Lavatube. I hope she likes it (I hope you don't steal it).

We really did have a good time, its really good to meet people in person you talk with online.

Oh and yes, I have been "testing" out this lavatube today. I just want to make sure its safe before my wife uses it ;) LOL
