Contest Time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok This is one for the NET tobacco lovers out there. We have got some new NET flavors for you to try, and come up with names for.

Here is the rules!!! We send you a free sample bottle of each
1) Vanilla tobacco
2) Cherry tobacco
3) Turkish Tobacco V1
4) Fire Cured Tobacco

All you have to do is vape them and come up with a funky creative name.

Once everyone has come up with a name we will then run them by all our employees and vote on who wins the best name for each flavor.

I know these are nets so they need a little steep time so we will give everyone a month to let them sit before everyone gets their name choices in.

We will take the first 15 who respond here to get in this contest. Please if you dont like NETs dont jump on let someone who likes NETs try it .

The winners of each flavor will get a free 30ml bottle of your choice.

Thanks Rich

I just ordered samples today, but I would love to try these new flavors.

I didn't know you were dropping. Last I remember you were at 12 mg. I feel so alone in that I increased my nic since beginning.

I started at 18 and went up to 24mg after a few months. I was actually tempted to try 36 for these samples, but thought that wouldn't be fair for testing purposes.

I stopped inhaling the vapor after reading reference after reference that claim the nicotine in vapor is not efficiently absorbed through the lungs like cigarette smoke, but is very efficiently absorbed by the mucous membranes, like pipe/cigar smoking....so now I draw the vapor in through my mouth and exhale slowly through my nose. Somehow that causes me to want to vape less often than I smoked cigarettes (more often than when I smoked pipe and cigars though), so I upped the nic level to still feel right.

I go to lungs. I passed (or failed, depending on how you look at it), a one-step cotinine test, so it would seem as if I am "getting it." The thing about puffing that would cause me to be dubious is that nicotine absorption from mucous membrane is highly dependent on pH levels of your mouth--I don't care to regulate the acidity or alkalinity of my mouth.

The sensitivity of the results for the test I took can detect cotinine (metabolite of nicotine) 200 ng/mL = 0.2 mg /L = 0.0002 mg/mL

Either which way, whether you puff or inhale to lungs, the vapor gets released though the mouth (and I exhale slowly), so I would like to think I am covered on both ends. For me, "getting" the nicotine has never been an issue--since nic is a stim, I have always felt it as fast, if not faster, than I feel effects of caffeine. I am sure we're all different in how we process this stuff, though.

How much I am getting in left unknown without a sophisticated test, but I only vape until satisfaction or if in need; quantitative measuring is not really important to me--though it would be interesting to see how much is in my system based on a highly monitored set of parameters.

Here is a truly wonky set of articles on nicotine, metabolism, bio-markers, etc.

dont sweat it. im still holding onto a lot of 24mg jucies. when i go out drinking, i feel safe having 24mg although 18 tends to get the job done most of the time- espicially when im building my own coils. i really want to get down to 12 soon but im not sure how easy thatll be.

woops  yeah that K15 was a doosey. its hard for me to downgrade nic% not for the residual nic to curb cravings, but for the initiual TH that the higher nic% produces. my cravings subside from nic blasts to tthe throat rather than nic content in my body. weird. but you know this, Mann.

its been a while since ive been in this thread. the new "facebook-ness" of ECF pointed me in this direction.

I found that too Kemo, it was more about the TH at 24 that I liked rather the nicotine cravings it self, even at 6v and dual coils. Really I didnt step down to 18 until I got a cold and the 24 was too harsh on my sore throat, then after it just stuck.

For me, it's always about the hit, unitl I have far too many hits then it's all about being spun.

thats funny that you say that! i just had a cold and was loving the extra TH LOL. my 18mg felt like it was 36. and i had my wattage way below what i normallly need. it didnt stick though. as soon as my cold went away, my TH tolerance went right back.

I'm with ya. I order nic based on throat hit. If a juice delivers the TH at lower mg I'll order it that way. 12-18mg usually works, higher is nice too if high VG or to have on hand when nothing seems to be kicking. I fear going lower than 12mg not because of less nic, but less hit. No matter how much nicotine my juices have, my prefered vaping style is.. as much as possible. Higher than 24mg would cramp my style.

I could lower my nic levels I'm sure since I've heard a person adjusts to the throat hit, but no desire since I also really like nicotine.

What I keep reading, mostly in ECF posts, is that while the combusted nicotine contained in smoke is most effectively absorbed by the lungs, uncombusted nicotine particles are too large to pass through the lungs' membrane, but will pass through the mucous membrane.

Here's an old thread about it (but I see the same info all over these forums):

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=82650

Apparently this info is based on a Health New Zealand report. I guess it doesn't really matter if throat hit is your thing, though. I like a lot of things about tobacco but throat irritation was never one of them, so I don't miss inhaling at all, especially since the best tobacco e-liquids are mostly pipe and cigar flavors anyway.
