Ok... So I couldn't wait for my carto to dry so I loaded up a fresh cartridge and a clean atty... This isn't as easy as I thought it would be...

The flavor at the front end is different than that at the back end... 3.7v tastes different than 5v.... It is far more complex to my taste buds than I anticipated...

Results forthcoming...

But, Every now and then I get a hint of coffee like a french vanilla cappuccino!
OOooooh that could be good too, with the golden color of the juice! Golden Sunrise!

Rich you have outdone yourself on this one! bowing-036.gif

Mine finally arrived today, too... 790126.gif Yippee!!

I know what my first impressions are, but I got it so late in the day that I want to wait until the morning and give my taste buds a chance to rest before coming to any conclusions.... and maybe giving it a little more time to steep.

But right now, all I can say is WOW!!! :w00t:

P.S. How many chances do we get on the name??

This is driving me nuts! So I know the flavor of this but I cannot place the name. I've searched through all my candy cookbooks and I haven't come across the name yet. It's a traditional candy served especially around Christmas time. It's not a fudge or a caramel and it's not a toffee. It's the flavor you get right after a heavy dark chocolate fudge with nuts begins to caramelize. After it cools it becomes a very hard chewy caramel but it's not a caramel. I used to make this stuff all the time but I just cannot remember the name, and I seem to remember it being an Italian name but it's not Penuche which is a pre-fudge state of sugar. Arrrrggggg!!!!!!!

Alright, so I cheated and read a few other reviews for this liquid... They are TOTALLY different than what I am getting. Well not entirely... I taste the chocolate. I smell the chocolate. It's not that fake artificial chocolate either...

At one point, it'll taste just like a TOOTSIE ROLL.

At another it'll taste like CHOCOLATE BUBBLEGUM.

I even taste CHOCOLATE FONDIT(sp?), as is used in cake decorating...

If I were to put a name to the taste I get most frequently, I would say "TOOTSIE ROLL".

It is very mild. The TH is great at 24mg... Could have even gone to 18mg on this one. It's a little treat during the day... I would definitely vape this regularly.

Don't they call that "Praline"

The perfect accompaniment for a nice dark espresso or cappuccino. So now I'm not only getting nicced out tonight I'm going to be zooming from all the caffeine as well.

No Woody it's not a praline. Praline is at about the same stage as a Penuche, the sugars haven't caramelized yet. What I'm thinking of is that stage where the fudge caramelizes and then when cooled becomes a hard chewy caramel that has this fancy european name that is just not coming to me right now.

Divinity is a Merangue like candy. Light and fluffy. I am scouring all the old timey candy makers around the country and so far not even they have what I'm thinking of. I guess it's a dead candy now. But I made a batch for Christmas a couple years ago. I can't find my recipe for it so I guess there is a drawback to having too many cookbooks.
