I can't afford to go to concerts anymore... not with the price of tix these days!! A friend of mine paid $250 to see Peter Gabriel at the Hollywood Bowl when he had the orchestra with him... but he got a box seat.

I've been to smaller clubs, but can't even think of the last big concert I went to, unless someone paid for my seat... LOL!! My days of getting Free Tix and/or Backstage Passes are long since behind me... <sigh> but then everybody I knew is old now, too!!!

My last concert was Rush maybe 10 years ago. Yes they were awesome! I haven't been since because it is just too hard to go to Indy for a concert, and nothing good is closer. They do have a couple nice places to have concerts there. Where I saw Rush is an outdoor place, with grass seating after the first 50 rows. I was in about eighth row. Just awesome.

Speaking of rockers, Steven Tyler just fell in the (hotel) shower. (I know, sounds like the start of a joke). They took him to emergency room. He cut his face and knocked two teeth out.
Never seen Aerosmith.

Adele has seen Aerosmith before not me though. I love me some concerts.

Best concert? Question goes out to all.

Mine was Pink Floyd in 1987. Right after Waters left. David Gilmore was just awesome.
I had just got out of the army (back from Korea), and heard Floyd was coming to Indy in three days. They opened up a few nosebleed, obstructed view seats, but I didn't care. I wanted to see Floyd.

So I went down to the record store/ticket master outlet. The guy behind the counter said yes, there were a few tickets left. Horrible seats. But he had tickets, and it was the same night as a Kenny G. concert. He sold me his premium seat tickets at cost (so he wouldn't lose his job, he couldn't charge me more). I took some guy I met in a bar (because I had just gotten back in town after four years, and didn't really know anybody). I drove, and my new friend supplied the "refreshments".

I dont know if anyone can beat Floyd!!!!!!

I dont know about a best! I have seen The Dave Matthews Band 29 times now, I have seen Pearl Jam 5 times and once was on my 21st birthday that was fun. I saw the Stones at Soldier Field in 05, I saw Bob Seger in 06 that was a pretty good show. I saw STP, 3 songs of the Red Hot Chili Peppers before getting kicked out for fighting (stupid friends). I dont want to admit this to anyone but I saw New Kids On The Block in 5th grade (three younger sisters), saw Bon Jovi, U2, Bob Dylan, Creed, Tom Petty, Willie Nelson. Went to a farm aid in Tinley Park in 98 & 05, & saw Phish at Alpine and Im sure Im missing some others too. I dont know that I could pick a best though thats tough.

I saw Aerosmith on New Years Eve the last new Years Eve show they did at the old Boston Garden. It was December 31st 1993. I didn't turn 21 till the 6th of January so we couldn't get in the Hard Rack before hand. But we did go to FuddRuckers.

The Mighty Mighty Bosstones opened for them! We had fairly decent seats. At midnight, Steven Tyler road down out of the rafters on the back of Father Times Harley and landed on stage. The concert started at 9pm and went till about 1:00am. It was pretty epic.
