Therapy Dogs?...You just got a big +1000000 in my book...my wife had a Doberman trained and certified as a therapy dog when we first met...He was the sweetest most wonderful dog I have ever known...loved to take him to make people (especially kids) feel better during a stressful moment in their lives...
I agree....this is one of the most wonderful things in the world. I have always wanted to do this.
That's a great thing to do Whiskey. I've seen cats in nursing homes but not dogs ... I can't imaging the joy they bring.

Sry never got back to this adhd got the best of me...Yea my wife bred and trained dogs...The therapy dog was spectacular...he has a story about him Ill tell ya sometime whiskey you'll love it...I know from listening to her I would have died of confusion/stress induced heart attack trying to keep up w things on a show day...

I like the slow pace of the Therapy dog sessions & love the school programs they are having now..Whiskey is more of a kids kinda guy...He LOVES them...He is very close to my grandson I think thats why...Jazz she's more low keyed & senses when people are not feeling well & she likes to cuddle, so she is strickly a hospital dog..she has her own room on one of the floors dedicated just for her...LOL...
Luca thought Kids were quote made to adore him unquote...someone new would come into the apt complex we were at when we first met and ask why we were allowing this 90 pound doberman to run around playing w the kids...I would tell them those are now the safest kids in Dallas he wouldn't harm a hair on their heads but woe to the person who tried to hurt one of them...the kids would actually come to our door and ask if Luca could come out to play...the parents loved it...the kids had a buddy to play with and they knew they were safe with him around...
So goes the myth that certain breeds are aggressive...We know who makes these dogs get a bad name right?
