Hi everyone!!! First I want to say thank you to all the helpful people here, I just got my first mech mod and rda over the weekend, and everytime I was looking for info about something on google it always had a thread from this forum on top! Way to go guys!!!
Gave up smoking last October and until the weekend was using a provari, with an assortment of tanks until I settled on the nautilus tank, loved it, then my friend gave me his old neutral workz mech mod with a stillare rda (that I think was a clone cause the middle and one of the neg posts spun like a ballerina)
Anyways I like tinkering so I started making some coils and haven't touched my provari since.
Got tired of the posts on the stillare and went and got a "little boy" rda, love it, but really miss all the space in the stillare (my local cape shop only had 4 authentic rdas in stock)
Ditched the 28ga kanthol as the springyness was getting frustrating working on some of the more complex builds, got some 24ga and to this point have built probably 30 sets of different coils from either guage, probably only really 18 or so good builds I was happy with.
So far the nano dragon was my fav for flavor, but most others seemed to get too hot for my liking with my long draws.
Right now I'm using 24g 13 wraps around a pump needle sleeper coil and it produces really good flavor after the 1.5 sec heat time. Setup came in at .497 ohm
After lots more googling about a coil that doesn't get too hot, I read some stuff about the DNA 40 chip and really got excited, any thoughts or advice or anything for someone new looking for more flavor and less heat?
