I've read the thread about fiberglass/glass fiber used in atomizer and cartomizer.

Today, I tried to clean my current atomizer by tissue, then, a particle of fiberglass came out with the tissue!
I didn't squeeze the tissue inside of the atomizer since I just wanted to clean the leftover liquid.

Isn't that dangerous ? I am really concerned with this since the particle is relatively short and small. No one may recognize it when vaping.

Any ideas on this issue?

I am currently using Vapage Vmod XL and their atomizers/cartomizers.

The filler material inside a carto isn't fiberglass. That's heat resistant poly-fiber. Though I wouldn't want to inhale a bunch of it, it's not going to hurt you. Now, the wick inside the atty is probably made from silica, which is fiberglass. THAT you don't want to inhale. That's microscopic glass fibers. Good for wicks. Bad for lungs. If your wick is shedding fibers, toss it. Perhaps you're confusing the two materials just to clarify.

*EDIT*
Just looked at the site for your setup. If you're using those prefilled cartomizers, don't worry. The atomizer is buried in the bottom of the carto. There's no silica making its way up to the top. The stuff you saw was just the filler material. No danger at all. Just don't eat a bowl of it. ;)

I'm also wary of this. I am reluctant to use my rebuildable due to the silica wicks.

Well, unfortunately, my MOD is not prefilled cartomizers. It's a tank system and cato/atty is directly connected to the tip.

Then, Isn't fiberglass broken by my finger tips? When I added some pressure on the fiber, it was broken.

What material was the "tissue" composed of??

Yeah. If it's the wick that's shed a fiber or two then that is silica most likely. Don't sweat it. As long as your wick isn't falling apart you're fine and so is the wick. It's normal to see a hair or so come off if you've been adjusting it. It is unlikely for anyone to inadvertently inhale silica fibers from vaping normally. Since the fibers are wet with juice and tied with a coil you needn't worry. Not an issue imho.
