Wow!
Today I received two mods I have been waiting for.
1. A well used SID
2. several ego batts for backups (also used but look and function like new)
3. An eVic in as new condition.
Playing with my SID and eVic now.
The SID has a slightly flaky fire button and a sticky center pin but there was a lot of crud in that 510 connection.
Any recommendations on how to perhaps "un-gunk" the area and restore the sticky floating center pin issue?
The flaky button seems to be ok if I remember to give my finger a slight rock on the button when pressing. Seems like one out of five try's takes a wiggle to get it to fire.
The eVic, well, i'm just about to download the software updates and install MVR (it came with v1.3).
Wonder how long its going to take me to have to pause due to nic overload!
Glad I have a bunch of 6mg juice! tonight would be a good reason to have more 0mg around though!
Don't know which I will become enamored with but as these are my first "real" mods, I am enjoying messing around with them for sure!
