After over a month without going out for a drink with my friends due to work and other issues, yesterday night i finally prepared to go out and have a good time and a few drinks.
So i make shure my eGo-C is ready to rock, both batteries 100% charged, i fill 5 tanks with 18mg USA mix, and put everything on the little bag that comes with the ego kit.
Since i like a little menthol too, but i dont put menthol on the ego (everything tastes menthol after), i also brought one of my V2 Cigs (KR808) batteries with a menthol carto.

So im at the Bar with my friend, and im puffing on the ego like theres no tomorrow, when all of the sudden i get some juice on my mouth.
hhmm... ¿maybe i puffed too fast? oh well, i took out the tank, and discovered some liquid had leaked. I cleaned everything put it back together and continue to vape. This time im carefull not to puff too fast or hard.

A little later... GULP, another "shot" of juice in my mouth.
So i switched the tank, thinking that might be the problem. And continue to vape.
A while later, I get yet another shot of juice, now im p1$$ed! so i switched the tank yet again.
This happened about 2 more times in the next hour. Every time it did, i ended up swollowing some juice, getting some on my hand, having to take the d@mn thing apart, cleaning it, put it back together, etc.

Then i get up from the table to go to the bathroom, and i leave the ego on the table. When i come back and grab it, the damn thing is sitting in a little poodle of juice! i (again) got juice all over my hand, and this time i was so fed up with it that i just put it in the bag, took out my KR808 and started vaping my menthol.

I dint have to vape menthol very long, because by that time, i started to get a headache, nausea, and was feeling kinda bad.
No! it wasnt due to "one too many" beers, in fact ibe only had like 5 by that time. My guess is that swallowing that d@mn juice and getting it on my hands made me sick.

So, there i was, after over a month of not going out, at only about 2am, calling it a night, because i feel sick.

My conclusion: Ibe had it!
i know this is the first time i have problems with my ego, and that maybe i was puffing too hard on it, or maybe it was a bad atty, who knows, who cares!
I never had a problem like this with my KR808s, and im not giving the ego a chance to do it to me again. So i just placed an order for some boxes of cartomizers, and a couple of driptips.
Ill normally use the cartos on the ego batteries, and i also have a full 510 kit, i can use those atties to drip when i have the patience for it.
In any case, im done with the "revolutionary tank system".

I'm curious if it was a thick or thin juice.

I actually got mine to leak pretty bad trying to discover the issue some people have. I had it coming out of every where and imagine had I set it down it would've been laying in a puddle of juice. Between tank and cone and cone and base were more seepage, but it was coming out readily between base and battery.
I ignored a lot of flooding to get it to that point.
Hint, when you hear gurgling tip it up so there's no possible way for more to flow to the atty. Of course you wouldn't tip it up if it's already flooded or it will go into the mouthpiece.

Using that tip up method I'm able to empty tanks completely without any signs of flooding in the cone. It's a matter of tipping it up while drawing and tipping it down to feed the wick while not drawing.

What's really odd is that same juice in the same tank on the same atty generally isn't a problem until the tank gets low. But for some reason that day it was.
At this point it has become a puzzle I have to figure out.

3 beers is a big night for me. :)

I've noticed that when driving with them they really start to misbehave. Not sure if it's engine / road vibrations or what. But when driving around with an otherwise pristine setup, all of a sudden I can barely get a hit or it's gurgling. Once I'd get to work and let it settle a bit, things would seem OK for the most part.

Perhaps it was the ride to the bar that set you up for the fall?

I've even noticed a little gurgling sometimes from my DCT when driving. But not near as much trouble as I had with the T & C tanks.

Funny part is I only drive 6 miles to work, but it was enough to cause issues. So I'd hit on the DCT only and let the Ego tanks sit untouched while driving. By the time I got settled in to work the Ego C would be OK.

Man I feel your frustration. Won't say what's been said a million times before, but just in case you weren't aware you can get an 808 to 510 adapter to use those carts on your ego....that's what I'm doing to use up my 808 carts.
Yep, im planning on getting one of those adapters, in fact i tried to order one a few hours ago when i ordered the 510 cartomizers, but they were out :(

It was 100% PG Dekang. Yep its pretty thin, but its the only one ibe used with the ego and it never gave me any problems before. And besides, abailavility fo liquids in this country is VERY limited so i dont have much choice. In any case, im done with the tank systems. From now on its only cartos, 510 + carts, or dripping for me.

i also use the ego while driving every day, and to be honest i never had any trouble with it before (driving or not), but even if the ride had something to do with it, it continued to misbehave hours after i arrived at the bar.
