Bought some Regular Vivi Novas from Steammonkey or whatever and they seem pretty sketchy. I'm a noob. I admit this. The Ohms jump on them. Move the drip tip. Ohm reading moves. Tried to rebuild. Ohms varying big time without changing anything. Just screw the cap on and they change. Is there a weak connection somewhere or is there any known issues with this "new version of vivi nova"? My Vamo puts out correct readings for my other cartos/clearos/dripper.

Like, Ill install a head, hook it up to my Ohm reader and it registers 7.7 Ohms for gods sake. I dry burn it for 2 seconds and it goes down to 3.3Ohms. Put on the cap and 4.5Ohms. What could be causing this? My multimeters are just fine. It reads a normal resistance then I fire it up with juice or dry, then it changes the next time i check it.

ETA: I'm following the same connection method as the other "sample heads" in the pack. Is 30ga too much wire for the vivi nova or what gives? Screw the top cap on, the Ohms change. Put the drip tip on, the Ohms change lol Like from .9 to 5 LMAO

Just put on a standard Mini Nova with 2.8Ohm head and it reads 6.4Ohms. I dry burned it and it reads 2.8 now.

Edit: When the assembled clearo is taken off very gently, it will reset the Ohms to 6 or so. One firing of the PV and it goes down to 2.5. Take it off the PV, put it back on or on another one without disturbing anything and it reads 7 Ohms. Once firing of the coil resets it.

Can't use it on any other mod than my Vamo. It blew one of my 18350's already.

That was my thought as well, but I have it assembled and when I take it off my Vamo, it resets the Ohms to 6ish or so until I fire it up once. Then it stays at 2.5Ohms til I GENTLY take it off and put it back on. BOOM 7 Ohms now. Put it back on, fire it up, and 2.5 Ohms...

I can't use them on my ego's because they won't reset whatever the issue has. Like not enough power. I use my Vamo at 3.7Volts if that helps.
