ohm meter, any opinions?

Multimeter will be fine you'll just need it to go to 20 Ohm. If you can find one with a smaller reading say up to 10 that would be better as the bigger the range usually the more of an error reading you'll get. So when buying stuff like this look at the number and look at the error reading.

Multimeter is about $9.00. Keep in mind you get what you pay for applies.

Well, if you want the most accurate results get yourself a FLUKE multimeter, they are most probably the best on the market.
And since you are from Greece like me go to Hlektronika.gr and feel free to ask, it's the largest greek electronics forum.
There will be many suggestions.

btw doesn't matter if you get an autoranging one. Most good multimeters are autoranging.
Depends on what you need, if you need top accuracy Fluke is the way to go and they start from 80 euros up to a few thousand euros.
