Hey guys...I recently purchased an Erlkonigin clone RTA that reads fine on my ohm meter (built at 1.4ohms with 28g Kanthal) but doesn't on any of my three mods...dna 30, istick and MVP 2.0. All of them say "Check Atomizer"...or, you know, the like. I'm curious how the ohm meter can read the resistance but my mods can't see the device. Unfortunately I have no adjustments on any of my mods and while the RTA does have an adjustment-like 510 screw, it seems to just loosen the deck up. I have to assume it's the RTA but I wanted some input before I contact the vendor. Thanks in advance!

The ErlK original and clone both have rather short 510 connectors. The original comes with a spacer that you can use to lengthen it slightly. Not sure about the clones. See if you can unscrew the screw at the bottom of the 510 connector and put in a small o-ring around it. It may be just enough to make contact.

Sometimes when you screw down your atty onto the mod it can move the centre pin and make it short on the outer part where the thread is. Might be worth making sure the centre pin is as tight as you can get it, and properly centred, then giving it another go. Some of mine are a bit fiddly, but making sure everything is properly tight and centred normally sorts it out.

Are you talking like a washer to extend the center pin further? Sounds like a plan!

Also, the MVP and iStick both have 510 pins that can be raised slightly if they are not making a connection. Just use something like tweezers to gently raise that pin but be careful not to pull it out too far.

I imagine it won't be too long before adjustable or spring-loaded pins are standard. Amazing how early we actually are in the development of all this. Exciting time to start vaping.
