I can't find a discussion as of yet so I'm starting one. I've been rebuilding my Igo-L lately. Been pretty good at keeping them in the 1 to 2 ohm range. I finally broke out my Igo-W and when I check the ohms on my little black ohm meter it keeps reading 500 to 700.

I checked for shorts and the only thing I can think of is the positive post isn't getting contact with both wires. But I've re-adjusted it and still the same thing. What's going on?

I think both you and Nermal are right, you've got a bad connection somewhere making a lot of resistance. If that's it you just have to find it.

Also, put another atty on the little ohm meter and make sure it's OK. Or check the 500 ohm circuit with a DMM. The ohm meter could have a problem too.
