Who makes and sells the best LED ohm reader/meter that reads 0-9.99 to the hundredth decimal place and is "fairly" accurate? I know there is Tobeco, hcigar, sigelei, and some others out there to name a few, but which are better than the others. Some of them dropped the ball and only read to the tenth decimal place, some of them aren't accurate, at all, and they flooded the market with so many junk versions, hard to know which comes out ahead of the rest. Overall, best one to buy? Not asking for the cheapest, asking about tolerances and accuracy of the readings. As always, thanks in advance.

I got this $10 one from Fasttech. Honestly I didn't expect much at all, but it's surprisingly accurate. I have a Fluke multi-meter which can zero itself, and a couple of cheapos. This one from fasttech is within .03 ohms of the fluke, and better than the cheapos that don't zero out.

thats a hell of a drift when trying to make .7 ohm coils lol

not a fan of cheaper necessarily finagle69, would rather have better if it is only a matter of 10 or 20 bucks I think. Not really looking to go the FT route, but thanks for the input, it is appreciated.

? i'm confused thrasher, a .03 difference on making a .7 is alot? .... .73 and .70 are that far apart?... I thought that .03 on a .28 would be a big difference, but even up around .7 it is? no clue, just askin. wouldn't happen to know of one short of multi meter that isn't would yah? thanks either way in advance

Within 5% is doing quite well.

Take a look at the DT-5302 DMM. I bought mine through Amazon from Ruby Electronics. Kelvin 4-wire milliohm meter as well as a not so bad auto ranging DMM, $140 shipped from inside the US, 3 days in transit. I mention this because some sellers on eBay say up front they ship from Hong Kong via slow boat. Resolution is 1/10 milliohm below 0.4. Repeatability is good. Not sure about absolute accuracy, but it isn't very far off.

With that said, a constant current source and two multimeters and a sliderule would do the job without the expense. I'm pretty happy with the purchase.

thanks Mikewhy, I'm talking just a straight LED ohm meter, I don't really need or want a multimeter, just looking through all of the vape "little black box" portable jobs out there. First there were few, now they all over, but some are having more problems reported than others. I don't build below .7 or .8 at all, but still want something "fairly" decent...so I thought I would ask here.
