what should the ohm rating test @ if i have a 4.5ohm atty? 4.5 +/- ohm because the attys i bought are testing @ 5.1-5.6 on my multimeter. i know they vary but i didnt think they vary by 1ohm i think thats high or am i just being picky

You need to check the internal resistance of your meter. To do this touch both leads together. Then subtract this reading from the reading you get when you measure the resistance of your atomizers.

Thanks for answering his question guys. You aren't being "picky" compltaset77, .5 Ohms -can- make quite a difference sometimes, but we have to keep in mind where these are made and sometimes the tolerances just aren't as tight as we'd like. Which atomizers are you testing? The HV's from us?

My Wavetek meter reads 0.00 on itself. I haven't tested my Fluke. What kind of meters are you guys using?

My fluke reads as high as 1 ohm at times. This is why I check it everytime I do a resistance measurement.
