I have a poilux rda and I was building a .60 ohms duel coil with 24g. Had it on my ohms meter and it read .70 I than put it on my istick 50w and the ohms went to .33 and than 3.0 and every were between. put it back on my ohms meter and rebuilt it and it was at .70. put it on my Istick 30w and the ohms jumped all over again but this time the istick got very hot and the wattage was set to 20w and it drop to 16w . what am i doing wrong or is it that the poilux rda is bad.

I check the connection and the were tight and the 510 center pin was unscrewed a little tighten it up and still the same thing. Every thing work fine on the istick no jumping no heating up. I have a Paradigm RDA and I have it built to .8 ohms and it works great.

The paradigm rda works great on both your iSticks? What about on your Ohm reader? All three devices read the same ohms?

So are you using the same gauge Kanthal on both the Paradigm and your poilux? If so, are the ends of your wire all the way through the posts on your poilux? It sounds like you have a connection problem. If you have any other size of wire, hopefully smller, just wrap some wire like 2-3 times around and put it on, turn it on really quick and see if it get hots. If its a Dual post atty then try that for BOTH posts. If it gets hot, then you know your posts are good. See what the ohms are reading for this "generic" wire on both your iSticks and the ohm reader you have. If they all match, then perhaps your atty can not accommodate that large size (24 ga) of wire. Not all atty's are made the same.
