Ohms jumping around

I'm running a smok XPro M80 plus with a Freemax Starre tank. I have a 0.25 ohm coil in there now.

Every now and then, my ohms will jump from 0.22-0.26, and sometimes up to 1.1. I'm running it on 50 watts but can't understand why my ohms are jumping so crazy. I've tightened everything down, but will still have ohms jump rapidly.

I've gone thru the two factory coils, 0.25 and 0.5 ohm, and now on a new 0.25 cool. So far I have had minor jumping, but still causing an issue. Anybody have any suggestions?

I'm not familiar with either, too. Without looking them up, I'm guessing you have a regulated mod and rebuildable tank atomizer.

Check the post screws on the tank posts to insure the coil connections are snug.

Look at the center pin on the tank and insure that it is of the exact same length as its 510 connector. Also insure that when you attach the tank to the mod that it is fitting snugly.

If the tank uses insulators, they may be defective and need to be replaced.

Well I know for a fact it is the tank, not the mod. Ran a couple other tanks with no problems. This tank, Freemaxx Starre, just came out. It runs a dual vertical coil. The 0.25 coil can handle 20-100 watts. Everything is tight, the coil is only 2 days old. The whole set up is only 2 weeks old. Since installing this new coil, it's running a lot better and more consistent, but it has jumped a few times. I know one other person with this same tank who is having similar issues.

It is definitely a tank/coil issue, not the mod. Other than this issue, this tank is absolutely amazing all around. Already being rated and voted better than the Atlantis and all other sub ohm tanks, just trying to get around this issue
