Ohms is the name for a measure of resistance just like MPH is a name for speed
subohm ( used in our context) means the amount of resistance less than 1.0 ohms.
the higher the ohms, the less electricity will flow thru the conductor ( up to a certian voltage)
Lower ohms allows more current to flow thru the conductor, thus creating more heat...

K gang- assume i am a total noob- lol- what is the RDA ?? I am trying to build my own box mod and do not understand what the rda is and etc- the coils connect to the what? then the drip tip on top and the deal where you let the excess smoke out?

START HERE
EDIT: Please, please, Hold off on attempting a Mod build until you're more familar with these basic concepts.

If you think of you water faucet as a resistance to water flow:
faucet turned off = open in ohms (infinite resistance).
faucet turned full on = short in ohms (zero resistance)
faucet set somewhere between full off/on = some amount of resistance
Electrical circuits work on the same principal except the resistance value is stated in ohms.
Water flow = current
Water pressure = voltage
Water flow control = resistance
Water output = watts

Please wait with the box mod build until you understand more about the technical side of how vaping works and how oto stay safe while doing it. Here's a bunch of good links to information that will help you get started on the right foot: One Stop Reference Shop For New and Experienced Vapers.

Read all you can. Hope this helps a bit :)
