I saw your prior thread suggesting this (writing on dollar bills). IMHO, it's another behavior that could tend to alienate people rather than educate them. It's akin to suggesting that we scrawl "ECIGS SAVE LIVES" graffiti on walls, signs and fences so everybody can see it...gets the message out there for sure, but probably not the message the vaping community really wants to send.

Don't get me wrong, it's good to be motivated and dedicated to the cause....there just has to be a strategy to it which involves maximal exposure with minimal negative side effects.

Not a bad idea, I think (and please don't be shy) to add and express some good old fashioned OUTRAGE that ecigs & ecig supplies would even be considered being banned!
Letters from anyone, anywhere are very helpful, since you can absolutely be counted among people who live, work, visit, or might someday contemplate visiting (and spending some hard-earned dollars) in NYC (if you catch my drift).

It is VERY GOOD to show them that, even though you live hundreds or thousands of miles away, you follow the news and are completely OUTRAGED that a ban would even be contemplated for such a revolutionary product. (YES?? YA DIG?? CAPICHE? VERSTEHEN SIE? GET IT?)

Wouldn't you be a little shocked and awed going to work tomorrow and finding 300,000 emails from OUTRAGED people in your inbox??? (Would sure make me think things through a little before I followed the herd like a sheep, no?? Sure woud be likely to change MY outlook on things.....)
