Ive looked on fasttech, ebay, and a few of my regular online stores... too much info to process!!!!!! If I had it my way I would never need anything bigger than my trusty old MVP... but I think i need something that can sub ohm and push a little more wattage...

My budget.... I dont like to throw away money but there isnt really a limit.

My needs... I am on the atlantis right now, but I do have a lemo drop, some kayfun clones, and was just given a big fat tobh dripper... I plan on picking up a kanger subtank, and as much as I dislike building stuff I will use a dripper on higher end juices like Frankenvape. I cant imagine ever needing over 50 watts, but who knows?

My wants... good battery life, perhaps dual 18650s, although I love the built in batteries on my MVP even better...

Dislikes... I dont want to carry a charger.charger with me to work, i really prefer charging by micro usb.

I have looked at the Vamo v9 ( not a box, but looks like a decent little 40 watt mod ), the cloudpor t8 ( twin 18650's can they be charged in the mod? The sig 150watt...
and the SMY God 180... thats 3 18650s, lots of power for cheap... well reveiwed... but I guess I have to carry my nightcore charger along.

If anyone has a good pick, and a link to where its sold that would be great... I am tired of trying to pick one...

If anyone has a link with one that comes with a subtank or a nice dripper... im all ears.

Thanks in advance!

I got a Sigelei 150 recently, and it's been fantastic so far. I'll never turn the power up anywhere near the max (I stick to 25-40w), but it's built really well and is dead simple to use. Eciggity and 101vape both have them for about $110.

I would also suggest just getting a second set of batteries to carry instead of carrying a charger, and even then one set could do you for a full day depending on your vape habits.

Essentially every one you listed is going to do much the same thing. Unless your looking to go out on the extreme fringe of what the mod is capable of doing then the best advice I have is to get the one that you like the look and feel of the most. Not sure what you have for local vape shops or if you have a facebook group in your area where you might hook up with fellow members to actually hold the mod but for what your looking for they will all work.

Some have magnetic battery doors, some have onboard chargers (which aren't worth a ..... IMO) and others have different little this and that's but in the end you set the wattage, push the button and it fires.

We are getting warmer... IVP2 takes a single 18650 and has usb charging... but I think I found a dual 18650 box mod with a good chip and usb charging...

Authentic Brand New Luxyoun Smaug 150 Watt Box Mod 2Y Wrnty 25 Off in Stock | eBay

Looks decent and uses a chip with a good reputation. Although till now I've never heard of it.

I understand not wanting to take extra stuff on the crew chopper and utilizing the built in charger. Personally I don't have anything against them but prefer to use a charger that charges the individual cell rather than trusting that an onboard charger balances the cells that are in a series.

Well if your not trying to cook an egg with it, 100w should push the coil just fine.
Sub Ohm, are we talking below .15, if so I'm affraid that your stuck to mechanical then if below this.
Mods
Kamary 200 is a 3 battery mod, haven't gotten mine in yet but looks promising (USB charging port available)
Sigelei 100w (v2) mod is what I use, runs down to .15 and will drive coils without issue (ideal ohm for the range of voltages is .5 ohm coils), it is a 2 battery mod. (no USB charging port)
GodMod is a 180w 3 battery mod, friend has one says its pretty descent and will drive most coils down to .3 ohm (no USB charging port)

Curious minds want to know, why is a USB necessary... I have run mechanical mods for years and they don't have a USB port. I figure a device focused on a singular task which is regulating the voltage is going to be better suited then one that has to have extra provisions to be a battery charger as well. Just a thought on that one though.

Oh, side note
Direct drive voltage, this is a term that I've come to love and understand.
Basically take the voltage of your mod (if series just add 4.2 x number of batteries) and factor your coils on that. Though the chipset itself will amplify the voltage as needed it is far better to use direct drive voltage without having to work the chip too hard. This is where I figured up the .5 ohm coil for the Sigelei as its max is 8.4v so if you span that out to get 100w you would need a .5 ohm coil for the whole scale of watt's without stressing the chipset out too much. Just a thought.

Yup... that puppy is on pre order...

I dont need 200 watts, I dont need below 0.5 ohms, I dont need 3 18650 batteries worth of vape time. I just wanted at least 50 watts and usb charging...

For 105$ with priority shipping it seems like a good deal... the manual knob and design are something else... very classy like a gentlemans flask.

Vaping like a Sir indeed....

Im on the same boat as you Dan. At first I couldn't decide between the ipv3 and the segelei. I actually, bought the ipv3, used it, and returned it . I was lucky the vape shop accepted it back. Anyways, the reason I returned the ipv3, was when I first inserted the batteries, I dropped the hexagon screw. No joke, it took me a good 5mins to find it on the floor. That already ...... me off. Then I vaped it, and the buttons felt awful. I guess you get use to it, but it felt like a hard child nipple. Love the 5 memory settings, but when I took out the battery again, it reset. Then I find out, the ipv4 is coming out next month, with a magnetic back and better buttons. At that point, I was like F#$K ipv!!!

Now I can't decide between the smaug or the segelei. But If I had to choose, i'd go with the smaug. No one really has it yet. I like the dragon on the front. Has a usb front charging port, so the screw in back wont be a big deal. And the big pro for me, the puff counter. Kinda wanted to see how much I vape at work, drinking with friends, etc..

Segelei seems simple, comes with a silicon cover so it can take the abuse of every day use. I probably would of bought it, if I didnt hear about the smaug. You can also wait a month for the ipv4. Seems like vape progression is on the rise again. Ethier one you choose, they all perform well. It all comes down to your preferences.

Almost got the atlantis too, then I heard about the Kanger subtank. Did a little research, but I'd wait for the Youde Goblin. From the videos, its seems like a tank that would replace your dripper. And thats coming from a dripper guy who only uses kayfuns in the car. Good Luck Bro

I'm really surprised nobody's mentioned the SXmini yet. Single battery, USB charging, 60 watts, nice compact (and good looking) form factor, and the most accurate chip YiHi has ever made. Check out the thread I linked to... 167 pages and everyone has been happy with it. Careful, though, you might end up canceling your $105 preorder for a $189 mod that's already out and can be in your hands in 2 days (with free priority shipping at Varitube).

Added info from the vendor on the Luxyleon Smaug 150w. The front usb port is used both for charging and upgrades. This maybe the device you've been looking for Dan. Just ordered mine today on ebay. Although, pretty hesitant to use the usb as a charger, ive seen a youtube video where someone was using it on the luxyleon uniq 100w. However, that is a single 18650 100w mod.

The rep had contacted the vendor, and said even though the usb doesnt come with an ac adapter; a standard cell phone adapter will work. An aftermarker 4.5V-5.0V output adapter will also work. It is normal for the battery to get warm while charging, however, DO NOT completely discharge your battery. I believe its safe also, due to the parallel battery config. and chip they are using, compared to the ipv3s. Dont really know too much, about safety issues concerning dual parallel and series battery configs. Open to any info on that.

Additional info:
A youtube video informed me, that the former production manager of Segelei, made his own company, Luxyleon. I would jump on the Smaug right now, cuz I see that v2 is coming out with a magnetic back and series batt. config. Dont know if that will prevent you to charge via usb. Hope this helps...

I just got my Smaug box mod 150w. Very, very, very nice. So damn nice, I dont want to drop it. And yes, I tested the front usb charger, and its safe. Although, it does charge the battery slower then my bay chargers. It is kinda big though, compared to the ipv3. Doesn't feel that great on my hand. But im happy, it was either this or Segelei 150w, and I like this a whole lot better!

As for the T6, dont really trust the clouper name brand too much. But thats just me. Ever check out the e-Lvt? Its the most durable box mod, ever made. Seems like it will fit you. Although it only goes up to 50w. Has a built in flash light too! Well, good luck shopping. Hope you find what you were looking for. Oh by the way, that "old people" post on my thread was HILARIOUS!!! -Arch
