I'm just curious about them. I'm in love with VV so I'm thinking about the wood Reo VV thats coming out. Is the taste any different? I see the squeezing the bottle a little annoying to be honest. I love the tank so the simplicity of the tube feed is cool. Just though i hate tasting burnt atty if I forgot to squeeze like when im dripping and you get that burnt taste. Is it really worth it? The bottom feeders dont come cheap.

the taste is the same as dripping if you use an atomizer. it's a little easier to keep the atty wet, so on average I feel like I get better puffs and better flavor with my reo, but that says more about my laziness/inattentiveness as a dripper than some inherent superiority of bottom feeders.

the real advantage of them for me is that i can get that great dripping flavor while driving my car, and without carting a little parcel of accessories around. can also stealth vape and get great flavor (nothing stealthy about dripping).

i think they're worth a try to see if it's something you like. and the reos are great if you like your provari - they are similarly built like tanks and of the highest quality in terms of craftmanship and design.

As soon as I got my Provari + Liquinator tank, my Reo has been collecting dust . . .

I love my Reo, but the Provari is just too convenient and the hits are perfect every time.
Reo collecting dust!?!:shock:8-o

Personally, I don't like to fiddle with tanks, so the REOs are perfect for me. Just like everything else in the vaping world...what you like I might not and vice versa. Definitely going to add a VV to my collection.

My personal preference is to the carto tanks. I tried a VV Monkeyboxx, and was CONSTANTLY flooding the atty. With a good punched carto, it is impossible to flood, and always wet, just fill it whenever the tank is low, and vape like a madman.

Like Della says, it is all preference. If you took a poll, I would bet that just as many people prefer carto tanks, as bottom feeders.
You will never know till you try one. I was able to sell the monkeyboxx for the price I paid, so it was worth the trial to me.

I know, its disgraceful. Once I started vaping at high voltages I just can't go back. I have a mini Woodvil so the voltage is limited and I prefer 6v. Its a beautiful mod but I might have to pass it on to someone else.

You could always try the 2 14250 batteries for 6volts in your mini! The battery life is a little short, but it'll work and you still get to enjoy the glory of a wooden bottom feeder! Just sayin'.

Also turns a Provari into a monstrosity. Man, that thing is HUGE.

Ahh, it can't be any bigger than a Scubagen or a Gtank can it? The 5ml GtankUS is HUGE on my Provari! I haven't got my Scubagen yet, but it looks pretty friggin big too. That Surge thing is pretty neat though. It's not rebuildable though is it? It's just a bottle holding tube for bottom feeding?

It's as safe as any other stacked battery mod, I guess. If you do it properly it will be fine. I'd say do a search for it on the Reo subforum. I know a lot of people have had great success with this. Just my :2c:.

Here's the thread I found it in: 6volt Reo Mini!

It just uses normal attys, so not rebuildable. Just holds a bottle to feed juice to the atty.

I'll stick with my unobtrusive tanks. :)

Thank you very much.. just the answer I needed.. does the atty need replacing often or they long lasting?

depends on the atty and how well you take care of it. I use HH357's and altsmoke's 510 atomizers on my reo, and with a vodka bath about once a week they've all lasted me over a month so far. I have a couple of 510's and 306's that have been going strong for about 2 months, some people get less life out of them, some get much more.

You guys are great I cant say this enough. Come to the think of it I should of put this thread in the bottom feeder subforum but you guys delivered. Thank you. I think later on I'll get a reo grand or the new woodvill VV when it comes out. Reo seems like it's one of the standards when it comes to bottom feeders. I know if it's not for me I can get a good return on the classifieds. Hell I love the classifieds BTW. I sold my Chinatube on there literally within 5 minutes, ha!

Hey eric! I have a vv bottom feeder and love it almost as much as my provari. why settle for just one when you can have to best of both worlds! I take my bottom feeder to work with me cause its smaller than the Provari. I also like to mix my flavors, so I have one flavor in the bottle in the bf and another flavor in the carto tank. I top and bottom feed on the same PV and I can mix chocolate in with my vanilla when I want a different flavor :) My bottom feeder works great with cartos.

This picture was taken before I discovered fill holes. The only other PV I am remotely interested in purchasing is the vv Reo when it comes out.

Thanks Donna you haven't steered me wrong yet! :) ill save up for one and see how it goes. Mixing flavors? Wow!!! I love it.. excited to try that out. I've been playing with my box mod the kens and I love it, going to take it out in the real world today on my shopping trip. It already fits great in my pocket.

Once you get a tank cartos don't get burnt because the juice always keeps the carto wet! My Liquinator tank and my Provari is all I need for now! Once you get a tank and get comfortable with it...you will never look back!
