I know the Provari was worth every penny. The darwin as well for what it does I'm sure. The Reo Grand for a bottom feeder. I just learned about a mod on another thread called a GG? I seen some pics and it looks really well built. The thing that floored me is that someone could get twice even three times what someone payed for it. I plan on getting a Darwin and Reo Grand in the years to come (I'm far from rich). It's just I'm amazed that this "GG" can go for more than a brand new Provari or Darwin. Is it that good?

You are late to the party but it is still going on strong. :)
I have all three and I can say they all fill a niche in my vaping life.
The GG is a work of art that you can use, the Provari is the workhorse
you can use forever, and the Darwin is the middle child that wants to prove
to its parents it can do it, and does, but doesn't look good doing it. :)

Yeah just TRY to get parts for your GG. Bruce at COV is a nice guy but Imeo markets in numerous countries. I've been trying to convert my GG mini to a full GGTS for months. Even the fuse springs were on back order. My COV dual coil atomizer shorted and tripped the fuse spring. Took a month to get a 1$ spring. Still not arrived and limit 2 on the website.

Buy the Provari. If I didn't have mine I'd have been vaping on a EGO.

Like all works of art, patience is needed to fully comprehend the beauty. :)
And, as I said in my post, I have a few mods so a spring ain't going to stop my vaping.
FYI, he already has a Provari. :) He was asking about the GG as a second PV.

One advantage to the GG that no one has mentioned is that it's all mechanical. No wiring in it to break like the Darwin and ProVari. Yes, they have high resell value but it's due to the age, condition, and the number that's lasered on it...the lower the higher it'll bring. ProVari's and Darwins will bring about the same as buying new.
