TT...that comment almost made me snarf my beer.....
On a good note....I got my knee looked at and x-ray'd tonight for 125 bucks....ouch. The plus is that I'm playing in a volleyball tournament on Saturday....I made sure I bought a good spanking new knee brace to add to both of my active ankles....well...guess I'm going to have more tan lines....but DAMMIT I'M PLAYING
...and the doc told me to....

Actually...I'm not being careful....I'm playing a higher level....hopefully I won't be kicking myself for it, but the sprained knee shouldn't be too much of an issue with my active ankles on (they don't let my ankles turn) and the knee actually felt better today than yesterday, but I'm still being careful...or at least I'll try...which is a lot for me

I was...it actually felt good today before I put the brace on...but we shall see for sure tomorrow. It's just scary how much happier I feel after beating the crap out of a volleyball all day...played 12 games today....had a couple bad ones, but the knee felt decent...playing up was the right choice...there were a couple girls sandbagging, but they are so much easier to play with...less running around...

Even worse....had I waited another day...I probably wouldn't have been concerned about getting it x-ray'd....it felt a whole lot better this morning.....unfortunately when you don't have insurance everything costs you out the wazoo...and the doctor was a SHE by the way

Just an fyi - When I had my broken finger x-ray'd a few months ago, I only saw the hand doctor for about 5 min. max. afterward. My total bill was almost $800! Most of the cost was the x-ray. Granted, the technician did three x-rays from different angles, but I thought it was outrageous. The good thing is that I only had to pay (well, I made hubby pay it) a $20 copayment.

If only....no...he's cute...but just a friend and volleyball partner.....believe me...it's better that way....I think I'm always going to be better off single....I'm still a hot mess though
