Hi all, Im in love with my new infinity, BUT What the heck is going on? My Boge SR cartomizers are burning. Let me first assure you that I'm not a total Noob, and am very apt at filling and maintaining all of my PV equipment. I know burning cartos are usually dry but it's just not the case. I don't think it's a bad volt issue here. The infinity is not shutting off like they are becoming LR cartos. And you can feel the volt changing properly as I turn up the dial. The infinity I believe is working as it should. Even when I dial it down to the lowest setting it's burning. Last night I pulled out a cheap crappy gold thread SR cartomizer with no problems..So what could my issue be? Every where I read Boge should work great. The reason Im so stressed is I now have 13 boxes of Boge 2.0 (I swear I'll never use these on my infinity) and 10 boxes of Boge SR cartomizers and 2 crappy gold thread cartomizers. And yes I have apocalyptic amounts of backups, I just can't help myself.

What are your thoughts? Thanks Guys!

Yes, pretty much they are. Quality varies widely, but a FLuke meter and a $5 china ebay meter will basically measure voltage, current, and resistance.
What really helps us are those reading. The resistance of your cartos, the charge on batteries, the voltage output of the PV can all be determined with a multimeter.
I'm really wondering the output of the Infinity, regardless of where the dial indicator is set.

As a side note, the classified is a good way to sell things you don't need as well as pick up deals once in awhile.

Beans, my first thought is for you to check the resistance on your cartos. Set your VM on the 200Ω setting, put the red lead on the center post and the black one on the threads of your carto. It will take a few seconds for your meter to settle on a number. Your Boge SR should be 3ish Ω. Possibly the vendor you bought from sent you LR by accident.

Second thought is to run your dial all the way up and then all the way down a couple of times. Then check the voltage on the Infinity. We had someone recently who's pot was stuck at the highest voltage no matter where she set the wheel.

Bov you have learned SOOO MUCH ! good help girl !

Beans , do this just run the pot or wheel back and forth 5-10 times with no power then try it again , the pot can get stuff in it and cause the voltage to JUMP.
