This is my first day with an Ecigarette. I was an almost 3 pack a day smoker. Not good. Last few months it was starting to feel like someone was pressing their foot on my chest (been smoking 32 years). Never heard of an ecigarette until about 3 weeks ago and started looking around the net. Sure are alot of models to chose from, but i kept looking at the PR 110 and finally ordered it tuesday evening and received it this morning. I work nights so i was just having my first cigarette of the day (and last one it turned out) when the mailman showed up. Opened the box while still smoking it. Thought to myself this looks kinda cool nice weight to it, pretty decent quality. Came with 2 batteries and six cartridges so i screwed in the 11mg cartridge into one of the batteries and took my first hit. I'm thinking man this tastes pretty good.

Had to work today so to be on the safe side I took a pack of "analogs" with me and my new ecig and off to work i went. Just got home 1/2 hr ago and I still have the same unopened pack I took with me and this ecig is still going strong and this marl-boro medium cartridge tastes great. No going outside to smoke anymore and the pressure in my chest is actually easing up a bit. not gone yet but better then it has been the last few days. Outstanding

The heaviest one that came with it was a 16 (there's 3 of them I think), but the additional ones i bought are all 11mg. Wasn't sure what to do when i ordered, but this is a better taste then my cigarette's ever were. I'll try a 16 tomorrow. I think i'm gonna be ok with this especially if the pain in my chest decreases (pretty good motivator right there). This is just the coolest thing.

Welcome to the vaping club! Always glad to hear someone new has come into the fold. You're probably going to want to order liquids to top up and refill. I thought when I started that I'd mainly use menthol carts and liquid, because I smoked menthol cigs, but I've found I like lots of different flavors. Thankfully a lot of the suppliers carry sample bunches of juices so you can try small amounts of a number of different flavors.

Scott;
Congratulations!
Better get some juice ordered. You'll go broke buying new carts all the time.

I definately agree, you're gonna want some higher strength. I've been pretty much constantly vaping all day since I started, trying to break the physical habit of smoking, and reaching for a cig. I'm using 9mg during the day, and adding a couple drops of 18mg when a particular craving hits (thankfully has only happened a couple times)

I tried to have a cig when I hit 25 hours without one, and it was digusting. I smoked menthol- I couldn't taste menthol at all, only the nasty regular flavor, and it made me wanna puke, plus gave me a buzz on top of it all. So my point, is that you definately want to be able to take care of any cravings without resorting to an analog, because you REALLY won't want one!

Well done Scott!! Really glad to hear you like e-smoking because my first one should be arriving this week and I am soooo excited and nervous about it's arrival. Great to hear other newbies giving such positive comments "straight from the box" so to speak :).
Encouragement from the Senior Members is outstanding too!!

Congrats! Read up on these forums for your particular model, cant remember what you said you had. While wonderful, these things are a bit flaky at times, so best to know what to do to fix issues before they happen and you are looking at that pack of analogs. I would definitely recommend higher strength, I personally think its best to go a little high, then to teeter on the barely enough nic edge for the first week or so. Heres to your health!

Am I doing this wrong? I just ended my 3rd day, still no analogs, but after doing tons of reading at this site i'm uncertain. Here's how i've been doing this. fresh battery in the morning and a fresh cartridge. That's pretty much it. First day it did last all day. 2nd day the 2nd battery crapped out at 9pm. Today back on the first battery again after charging and the thing lasted from 7 am until just a few minutes ago. midnight basically. That seems like a long time compared to what i've read here. Same with my cartridges they still taste pretty much the same. I just figure a full day is pretty good so I change them not knowing if I need to or not. I mean it's certainly working and i'm not smoking regular cigarettes so guess this a pretty decent kit. How do you refill a cartridge? They say these will work in a vapor king 808 also. Won't let me post the exact product link yet.

This is fantastic to read.

As you can see from my Sig... I'm into 48 hours now.

I freakin love this. I love everything about these PVs. I love the PCC to keep me fresh and charged, I love being able to use this thing in the car with my GF with the windows up (she loves the mint smell) and not have anywhere near the guilt.

Yes we are quitting smoking tobacco products, but as my GF continues to tell me, you're still addicted to the nicotine.

To me that's fine.

Congrats Scott on your first day. I haven't hit any major urges just yet. I know the next few weeks will be hard.

Congratulations!!

and it gets better and better every day!!.Every Week. I can't believe how much better I feel, it's been a little over 6 weeks since I stopped smoking. i can breathe better, take deeper breathes, my sense of smell and taste buds have healed, i have more energy and an overall sense of well-being that I haven't experienced in 31 years of smoking tobacco. the more time goes by, the more your body heals, the better and better you feel. It's great! I don't even think about them. I can't believe how easy it was to switch.

It's really nice to spend more time doing what I want to do, instead of smoking. More freedom. And I must say, "Victory feels great!!!"

You can do it!!

Vape on.....:thumbs::thumbs::thumbs:
