510 and 510 Mega. Differences? I am sure the Mega bat lasts long, but how much longer? How about interchanging the parts? Same or no, no?

The mega atomizer is a little longer than the regular 510 & the cartridge is a little larger. You can use the mega battery on either atty. The 510 cartridge and the mega cartridge are not interchangeable on the different attys because of the different lengths.

Thanks, is the battery life much longer in the Mega over the standard 510?

Yes....quite a bit...maybe an hour per charge. I have both and the megas definitely last longer.

Cool, ok thanks to both of you for the info. I am looking at getting one or the other, but was unsure. I have my standard 510 and love it for when I am out, it is small and simple, I have an ego 650 PT that I really enjoy at home. But the 510 dies so quick it would be nice to have the slender style with the longer battery life for while out and about.

Oh how about cartos? Can I use the same ones I currently have on a Mega?

Yes. The mega is just a longer/stronger 510 regular. Same threading. The regular one is 180mah and the mega is 280mah (pretty sure.) Everything else is the same. You can use the same charger as your regular 510 batts, too. That's handy. They're all 510..which refers to the threading...so all interchangeable. All the stuff (attys and cartomizers) will fit on all of your batteries....the 510s, the megas, and the eGo pt. I really like the megas....once you get used to them, the short ones will feel really, really short. lol
