Just got a starter kit for my Mom, and she's gone through the cartridges.

The FDA business has me all confused- I don't get PG vs. VG, and I'm trying to get something healthy for her. I thought JC was the way to go, but it doesn't sound like it from what people say.

Can someone *please* point me to who the good guys are- and it needs to be made in America. Say what you will, I intensely distrust the Chinese made stuff, both from the FDA findings, to their track record in general (melamine for babies anyone? Or the latest about health officials denying the sickness of 1000 workers at a plant?)

Anyway, don't mean to be a stick in the mud here, but I just found this solution and am very hopeful, but need to get stuff soon that won't be bad and that people have great experience with. So can someone explain to me the PG vs VG debate and whom they like, US made?

Thanks!!!

Johnson Creek is the only company I know of that makes their own juice here in the U.S.
I've used it and it is very good. I prefer the Tennessee Cured flavor.
This is what their web site says about PG/VG.
"PG, Propylene Glycol
The ingredient in most eliquid recipes that produces vapor. Propylene Glycol, or PG, is on the FDA's list of substances generally recognized as safe, and is used in everything from fog machines to artificial flavors.
Reduced PG, VG, Vegetable Glycerine
A very small percentage of e-smokers have a sensitivity to PG. That's why we offer an alternative recipe. Our Reduced PG recipe uses Vegetable Glycerine as the main vapor-producing agent to create a similar vapor that is usually slightly thicker."

I will say too that I've been using juice from several other U.S. suppliers that probably get it from China and I got no complaints. In fact that's pretty much all I've been using lately.

I believe Totally Wicked is UK/USA made liquid, not 100% sure but that's what I always thought.

As a side note, I've never had a problem with Chinese liquids. Frank at CigEasy just started selling liquid, and he sells the quality Chinese liquids (production and expiration dates) at rock bottom prices. The people who have dealt with him know he's the real deal.

Good luck in your hunt for good liquid, it can be daunting at times, but when you find the supplier and product you like, your set.

openthewell.....Tw is a great e-liquid there is no doubt(my personal favorite),but I believe it is still made in China and exported to the UK and US....The plus side is they do list thier ingredients on the bottle which gives some folks peace of mind!:)The Wiz!

^^ Thanks for the clarifying. I always assumed at the prices they charged they made it in house, but you know what they say about people who assume, lol.
openthewell....having used TW for months now...I can honestly say you get what you pay for! Thier liquid stands out in the crowd...you just have to catch the sales...LOL:)The Wiz!

Well if you say so that's good enough for me. I guess I'll have to try some then. I've always wanted to but I end up buying from someone else to save $.

I believe VermontVapor.com makes their own juice. I have purchased from them previously and their shipping is very fast. As a bonus they list their ingredients on the bottle.

is the ECOpure made in the UK? if so, would that be better for you than juices made in China? personally i havent had any problems with juices from China.
Yes, Ecopure is made in the UK. Don't know about 'better for you', but it certainly has the fewest ingredients of any liquid I've seen so far (although I should also point out that TW are about to start producing a premium range in the UK that is going to contain even fewer ingredients). ATM, my favourite liquid is most definitely Ecopure, but I also love TW.

Well, my personal opinion would be ecigsmokestore. Their new and definitely need the support, but honestly its probably the best juice I have tried out of almost all the suppliers on the forums. Theres a large selection of flavors, sampler packs, great prices, and the liquids themselves are just amazing. I have yet to be disappointed. Dawn also likes to throw in free little goodies like 3ml samples of other stuff. Best customer service and shipping I have experienced too. Overall my favorite supplier!
