Ok so what is your preferred amount of cotton on an RDA and why?

Everyone seems to have different opinions of how much cotton to wick with on an rda. I don't mean how thick, I mean how much do you leave laying in the well? Do you have a bed of cotton? Do you just have two tails barely touching?

I know it comes down to personal preference, but I have tried several different methods and don't really ever see much of a difference. I would like to see a picture of yours, and tell me what you like about it.

Agreed, I can't tell any difference in how long I can vape before I have to drip again so I just cover the base so I don't have a puddle of liquid that could leak out easily if I lay it down.

The more cotton the more lost liquid. Cotton likes to hang on to the e-liquid.

I have had wicks almost dry at the coil and the bed was still soaked in the outer areas.

I wick my tobh like this. I mainly do it like that, because without cutting tabs out, the wick tails on the negative post have to be positioned in some weird way. It doesn't darken up as fast as it would wicked another way, and liquid hits the wick directly when dripping.

Omega. Omega and tobh are two I use a good bit more wick with for capacity.. I usually use as little cotton as possible.

Quad coil on origen..wick touches bottom of well..not packed in it.

I'm finding that just small tails works the best for me. Keeping cotton in the bed would create leaking. Now I vape the juice until gone and drip liquid when ready to use it. Still working on different ideas now with the Magma and Veritas.
