Well I kind of thought 40 would be to much just thought I'd ask so I don't burn out two new coils not that it would cost me a lot it's just a pain in the rear to have to go buy them again
Yeah, start out at about 7 watts and go up toward 12 to 15watts max on the mt3s, not enough airflow for any higher, that and that 34awg wire of the coil can't handle the abuse to well.
The t3d being dual coil, start at about 8 to 10 watts, then work up toward 13 to about 18watts max.
I am running a 1.8 coil on my istick 30 right now set at 7 watts. As others have said. Start out very low and go up from there. You may find that those factory coils don't need high wattage and can even shorten their lives. The topper I am using isn't the same as you are asking about but it is comparable to them.
