So I got an aga-t in the mail today. Of course I had to set it up and give it a go. I watched all of the youtube videos, read the advice, and everything tastes awful. Also, the ohms of the coil will not settle in. Goes from 2.0 to 3.0 ohms at what seems like random. I blew the first coil I made, which I expected, but on my third now and just don't get it. Any help?

What battery are you using?

What wick material?

Sorry, should have realized that would have been helpful. I am using SS mesh and wire that came with the new aga-t, I also bought some 32g kanthal (A-1 I believe) to try some more. I am running it on a Vamo V2 with an 18350 battery. Tried it with a bit of silica wick I had too and although it didn't taste as bad the coil's ohms wouldn't settle in either.

Make sure that the connections on the positive post and the negative screw and both secure, and not loose. Those are the only factors which will cause varying resistances if using a silica wick. If you're using a stainless steel wick, then shorts will also mess with the resistance. Also make sure that if you're using a stainless steel wick that it is not touching the positive post at all. If it touches the positive post, even if it makes contact inside the tank where you juice is, it will mess with your resistance and could cause shorts. Make sure that it is not touching the bottom of the tank either.

My guess would be that your top connection is loose.

Thanks everyone. Played around with it again this morning and seem to got it to settle in around 2.7 ohms and all the coils are glowing. Still tastes a little odd but haven't had a full tank go through it yet so we will see if it settles down. Also, has anyone noticed juice/condensation building up on the inside of the device where the coil is? I will post a pic later to try and explain but it looks like a bunch of steam inside by the coil, just didn't know if that is normal for these.

Hey, yeah it's normal. The vapour condensates on the cold SS and forms water...
