Hello! I am new to this ecig thing and yet old hat at the same time. My father successfully quit smoking a couple of packs of cigarettes a day by using an ecig. He really is in to it, and I have watched him in the last couple of years breath easier, and be able to smell things better. His energy has gone up, and things that use to take a lot out of him don't seem to bother him as much anymore. I was surprised to find that I have a hard time smoking a cigarette in front of him now. He has only ever told me a couple of times that he wanted me to quit (and I have been smoking for a long time), and doesn't harass me about my habits of smoking.
I have a ecig, it's shaped like a box, and quite frankly all I can tell you is that I like it and I have no idea how it works. I know how to replace the battery and refill the liquid, but above and beyond that, I am clueless. I am also a grown adult, and I feel like I can't keep asking my Dad to help me with the basics if I am going to take ownership of smoking an ecig instead of Camels. So here I am.
I do not want to be clueless anymore. I don't want to smell like cigarettes anymore. But I darn sure want to have my nicotine. And as I have had the pleasure of watching my Dad breath better, I want the opportunity to do the same.
Wish me luck as I learn, and please don't laugh too hard as i ask asinine questions about how to do this right. I haven't fully quit smoking cigarettes now, I am just beginning my journey, but I look forward to getting to know more about it and those that have walked this road before me.....
